2014 Georgia Athlete Calls Ohio State His ?Dream School?
By Michael Chung
The first BCS standings came out Sunday, and to no one?s surprise, the top two teams were once again from the SEC. In fact, four of the top 10 teams in the BCS standings hail from the Southeastern Conference, and it?s no secret the SEC has been the dominant conference over the last six seasons.
It is looking like they may make it seven straight years of championships, and for Ohio State to challenge more powerful conferences like the SEC, they will have to beat them out for recruits.
Myles Autry is such a recruit. Out of Norcross High School in Georgia, the heart of SEC country, Autry already possesses offers from SEC schools like Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Georgia, along with Florida State and Georgia Tech, where his brother, Anthony Autry, is a freshman wideout.
This 5-9, 175-pound athlete is being recruited primarily as a RB in the class of 2014, and also has an offer from the Buckeyes. Ohio State is likely to take least two running backs for the 2014 class and Autry could very well be one of them. He has strong Ohio State interest but has an older brother who plays in the ACC.
Can the Buckeyes lure this speedy athlete in the heart of SEC country to Columbus? He recently took some time to talk with The-Ozone about the Buckeyes and his recruitment.
