Consider registering! Fewer and higher quality ads, no emails you don't want, access to all the forums, download game torrents, private messages, polls, Sportsbook, etc. Even if you just want to lurk, there are a lot of good reasons to register!
I HATE not naming a starting QB. If we go into the season without a starter, we're in trouble. The old saying is if you have 2 quarterbacks, you have no quarterbacks. Don't bring in a stud QB every year if you're afraid to upset one. That's the way this goes. There can only be one starting QB.
I don't even understand how you can be mad at the coaches here. He literally says Ohio State was his top choice, but he felt a spiritual conviction to go to another school. Nothing you can do about that.
Ohio State's approach to anything new is:
1. Take the Big Ten approach of being too good for [new thing] because change is bad.
2. Realize that approach has put Ohio State at a competitive disadvantage.
3. Decide to embrace [new thing] fully with winning results.
Just off the top of my head...
Recruiting has never been for the high minded, and I don't think it will ever change. You're going to be continually frustrated in the recruiting forum.
