Salt-pretty good, sets itself up for an obvious sequel-basically just quit in the middle of the movie.
I also finally saw Avatar-loved the visuals, hated the hippie politics.
IMO,the Reds lack of movement at the deadline tells me one thing-teams aren't lusting after Alonso the way both we and Jocketty might hope. I don't think the depth at Louisvile, Chapman aside, is all that insane. Jocketty talked to seattle about Cliff Lee, but they wanted Travis Wood-Walt did...
It's a college thing-Dhani Jones and Leon Hall are standup guys for the Bengals, and Morgan Trent sucks regardless of where he went to school-being a scUMer just makes it easier. As a Buckeye fan, I'm not going to attempt to defnd Mike Doss' pro career.
Andre Smith and Terrence Cody-is there something in the water-like bbq sauce-in Tuscaloosa that makes players fat? Nick Saban needs to worry about Colonel Sanders and BillyBob's Pizza Shack, not agent parties.
The Smith thing is pissing me off-his foot gives him an excuse to be a lazy slob. As for TO-great pickup-he and Carson Palmer were throwing together in the off season.
Couple of thoughts
1-Oversigning certainly does give the SEC an advantage BUUUUUUUT
2-So many kids in every SEC class fail to qualify that oversigning is almost redundant-there is a reason that Auburn,Kentucky,LSU,Ole Miss, etc do this-and Vanderbilt does not!
3-The 2011 class in Ohio is so...
Congratulations Mr. Hale! It is very rare you see a kid 6'5 290 and think he actually looks kind of lean, but that is the case w/ Hale. I usually don't look too much at recruiting ranking #'s, but if someone is telling me there are 33 DL prospects better than Joel Hale in the country-they are...
I missed the Cromwell doc-I would have liked to have seen that. NatGeo blows it's copetitors out of the water in both content and production,IMO. My favorite NatGeo is "Explorer" and "Lockdown".
I think that
A-Underwood will at least get a cameo at DT
B-Mangiro is still wanted by the staff
C-Walker might need to hurry his timetable up if he wants to become a Buckeye-he might not be allowed to play the usual "Glenville game" and wait until late January or so to commit. See Jonathon...
RIP my Bomber brother.
The situation Cincibuck describes is prevalent at the Hs I used to teach at as well. A large group of parents would rent a condo, and then let their kids all share another. Siesta Key was/is the destination of choice.
Sadly, kids do not realize that alcohol and 50 foot...
Historically Jagger, Freddy Mercury, and Robert Plant are the best.
Today I would say Eddie Vedder, Ben Harper, and the singer for Lamb of God-he really stands out from the band and gets into it.
