    Florida State Seminoles (official thread)

I didn’t realize it was the Yankees who opened fire on Fort Sumter.

    Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

I think Miami (of Florida) is a classic case of a school that would have a better reputation as a university if it dropped football. Academically, it's pretty solid. But the antics of the fans and the history of corruption surrounding the team make the school look bad.

TenneCheat VolunTears (but..but..but.. we're good at baseball)

It does sometimes seem like the NCAA goes harder on lower tier schools to compensate for their slap on the wrist treatment of certain protected programs.

2024 College Football Playoffs Discussion (12 Team Format)

I would prefer the first three rounds be played on campus, and only have the championship at a neutral site.

2024 College Football Playoffs Discussion (12 Team Format)

Why not? First round games could start November 1, and we’d have a champion by New Years. I‘d make it 128 to avoid any play in games. Plus it would give Kirk Herbstreit a chance to interview the two teams left out about how it feels to be slighted by the selection committee.

Buckeye b'ballers you may have forgotten

Congratulations to former OSU b-baller Tony White for being elected as a (The?) managing partner of the Thompson Hine law firm...

    Lee Corso (official thread)

    Technically, yeah.

    Lee Corso (official thread)

With the addition of Sabin, GameDay should drop at least one of Howard and McAfee, preferably Howard. I understand having one clown on stage to complete the circus, but two is too many. Unfortunately, I think they like having a guy from each of OSU and TCUN, so Howard isn’t going anywhere.

SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

For all his flaws, I gotta give Harbaugh credit for completely fucking over the TCUN football program and fanbase on his way out. Still a piece of shit, but give the Devil his due.

2023-2024 Ohio State Men's Basketball (apathy, depression, hope?)

I view Sean Miller is sort of a Calipari type coach. He’ll win, but I’d worry he might get the program in trouble with the NCAA. I also thought he brought in some guys with questionable character at X, but he might not feel the need to do that at OSU. Chris Mack is kind of interesting. I think...

Frankly, I'm impressed. Too bad Richard Nixon didn't plan his exit strategy as well.

It's almost like he doesn't give a fuck about TCUN.

Texas Longhorns (big hat, no cattle; please don’t Horns Down us)

I think Madison is the coldest place in the B1G where the team has a pulse.

Brian "Body Kount" Kelly (HC Louisiana State)

The alligators probably got them bodies. There's a reason Kelly moved from South Bend to to Louisiana, and it wasn't for the cajun cooking.

They demanded he do it in front of his family. Hence, the follow-up visit.

Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

Spot on. Trying to keep people around who don’t want to be someplace isn’t a good way to build a winning anything.

You have a good point. Being good at lying and cheating does seem provide a big advantage these days. I dare say, it may have become an essential skill.
