Agree completely. When the protection breaks down - and it will all game - he needs to get the yardage with his feet. At least force Michigan State to spy. Indiana didn’t bother with a spy because they knew Fields does not like the run.
I have to believe this means they’re not have a Ravens/Gophers issue with COVID and that they’ve done a good job isolating anyone who might be contagious. Their testing must reflect that or they wouldn’t be pushing forward like this.
Minnesota/Northwestern game has been cancelled. The Gophers are up to 40 players/staff COVID positive over a 10-day period. They played against Purdue with several players out for COVID on Friday, November 19. No way to be certain but it seems likely playing that game didn’t help their...
It’s a tainted title if the Big Ten is shut out due to a lack of flexibility. That’s not sour grapes. I’d feel the same way if the Bucks won a title because the SEC got shut out for reasons like this. It wouldn’t be a title. It’d be an exhibition trophy.
I’ll hold out some hope on this one. It’s probably not going to get played but there’s still a chance until they make the announcement one way or another.
COVID numbers are up everywhere. It’s not good for sports right now. Hopefully the playoff committee comes to its senses and pushes back...
I don’t think we know enough at this point to say the game is or is not happening. It’s certainly in doubt. If we start to have the same kind of increasing positive results that we are seeing with the Baltimore Ravens, I’d be surprised if either MSU or UM happen. But we don’t know if it’s going...
This is a legitimate hope. If we can stay under the threshold for next week (seems less than likely but who knows), then I’m sure people will criticize the decision to cancel Illinois in hindsight. But it was absolutely the right call to preserve the possibility of next week and the week after...
Yes, there is when you have PCR tests come back showing more positives than you had before. I highly doubt Ohio State is operating with any experts on your level but I’m sure they’re doing the best they can.
Because the numbers probably kept going up throughout the week. This shit spreads pretty fast and you pass it on before you know you even have it - even with the strict testing protocols they have in place.
In other words, they probably still don’t have a final tally on who all will end up...
Huh? Why would it be canceled if the situation is reversed? The situation we actually have is what calls for uncertainty. You have players positive. You have at least one coach positive. And you have several others who could be infected AND contagious but tested negative BECAUSE of that lag...
