The Air Force lost a lot of good people this past year when a mad man began shooting pilots in the back of the head as they sat at a table during a meeting. In some cases you can chalk these things up to insanity, to fundamentalism, to paranoia, to all of...
Kind of a yo-yo reaction, justifiably, on my part. At first I think, you hate to see a former Buckeye killing himself. Then I hear about allegations of sexual abuse and the kind of character he had. Now I'm appalled to think he ever wore the scarlet and grey. Finally, I learn the location was 14...
Great article. The ideal reminds me of my environment and I can honestly say I've never enjoyed work so much. I can spend a half hour talking with coworkers at their cubicle without feeling guilty about it. But then I can go back to my cubicle and knock out a lot of work.
The kind of work I...
This. While Meyer says he doesn't want to use language like "making an example," how can he not? What he does here defines how he will handle transgressions by players in the future.
In defense of my proposal, clemson had not taken a shit yet. The most vocal opponents of a change are the ones that want to preserve the regular season. I think my proposal accommodates that.

1 - LSU
2 - Oklahoma State
3 - Oregon
4 - Boise State
5 - Wisconsin
6 - Clemson
7 - Alabama
8 - Stanford
LSU / Stanford
Oklahoma...
This is how I feel, somewhat.
And for all of those traditionalists out there, can you honestly say as each year goes by you maintain or gain enthusiasm for the post season?
Part of the reason I mentioned it. But as each years brings more negativity toward the sport, while stories like Eric LeGrand's are forgotten by the casual fan, you'll have less television sets tuning in. Whether that negativity stems from over half of fans being dissatisfied with the post...
They're making changes because the sport is losing relevance. Nobody cares outside of your devoted fans. Too much controversey, too much ambiguity, etc. surrounding the BCS. Conference realignment has created scars all over the college football landscape. The publicity of football scandals has...
Whenever I see recruits wondering this sort of thing I can't help but feel they're really just worried about being lost in the depth chart. They probably just need reassurrances about recruiting plans and where they'll fit in.
This. I think the pressure will be on big time in Happy Valley. Realistically, it is a toss up between him and Hope--which goes first. I know if Illinois comes out looking a lot better than Penn State it will only make things worse.
