And while we're arguing over which team has faced better defenses, I can still say that OU has faced much better offenses. Yet OU ranks higher in total defense than LSU and is just about dead-even in total offense. I can sit here and say that 2017-18 Oklahoma scored more points than anybody all...
Only the 3rd best??? Yeah right. I can assure you that OU would have the best rushing attack in your conference.
I believe my argument was that OU allowed fewer points against them than LSU did. What does the amount of points KSU scored against them have to do with anything???
Well since...
And somehow, the Big XII still puts out better offenses than the likes of freaking Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Vandy, Kentucky, South Carolina, Mizzou, etc.
Congrats on being the top offense in a league lacking very innovative offenses.
Oh yeah?? Then why is it that Texass scored 38 on you...
Well congratulations! And as I said earlier, OU on average has faced far better offenses that you. Say what you want about whatever metrics you want to use, but I think everyone can see the Big XII puts out better offenses each year than the $EC.
C’mon man! Couldn’t you see they were tailing...
And no, there’s no other Big XII defense I’d bother making an argument for. I guess Clemson fans wouldn’t boast about those mighty Wake Forest and N.C. State defenses either.
Yes, recruiting rankings matter so much that for approximately 5 years UCLA had out recruited OU for some of the highest ranked prospects out west. We had recruited some five-star prospects from Southern California by the names of Darnay Holmes, Keisean Lucier-South, Jaelen Phillips and Mique...
Already, NFL scouts are high on James Lynch and some are even comparing him to J.J. Watt. Baylor had the toughest defensive front OU's faced all year, and twice they prevailed against them.
Also, Baylor has an Olympian-producing track-and-field program and some of their athletes are also on the...
Chris Ash could very well be a solid hire for UT, or he could be just another bust much like Mike Stoops with OU after he had a long, depressing stint with Arizona.
We're pretty much arguing over which team wins a CFB version of Elway's (pre 1997) Broncos vs. Jim Kelly's Bills, as neither one of us would beat the winner of Clemson vs. OSU for the national title. I'm certainly not delusional enough to think OU would have much of a chance against a real...
And yet we still finished comfortably ahead of LSU in Total Defense. (Yes, you capitalize the first letter of each sentence.)
And I'm well aware that we're guests on a B1G board, which is a conference that Ohio State owns. Much like the Big XII is by OU. Congrats on winning the SEC with a Bama...
Losing Perkins does hurt us, but fortunately for OU they have enough talent and depth to supplant him.
I'd say Stevenson's the biggest loss because that leaves OU with only Hurts and Brooks as their only running threats. Stevenson was our "run between the tackles" back that we've needed since...
