  1. RB Brandon "Zoom" Saine (official thread)

just watched the video on Saine. very impressed with his speed. The staff must really be impressed to have an offer out to him before camp. question:do we take two backs next year? If we can get Saine and Bradley Stephens or another big back, I will be more than happy. IMO, Saine is obviously a...
  2. '07 OH QB Clay Belton (Miami of Ohio Signee)

in response to scarletngrey77: my uncle is a graduate of tOSU and is a welding engineer. I've been told by him several times that the engineering program is very reputable.
  3. '07 WI OL/DL Josh Oglesby (Wisconsin signee)

picture this: we get a official visit from Oglesby and at the game there just happened to be Orlando Pace there as well. I know its wishful thinking but I've heard comparisons to Pace regarding his game.
  4. CB Chimdi Chekwa (Official Thread)

after hearing Tress gush about his man-to-man skills and recovery speed, I believe Chekwa will be a star here in time.
  5. DE Robert Rose (Official Thread)

Rose sees the field this year, IMO. I think in 3-4 years, we'll be watching Robert on Sundays. OUr
  6. DE Robert Rose (Official Thread)

Rose sees the field this year, IMO. I think in 3-4 years, we'll be watching Robert on Sundays.
  7. Laurinaitis vs. Grant (Starting LB Discussion)

i completely disagree about D'Animal. DE is what he'll play in the pros, huh? what has MDA done here to warrant talk of him going to the pros. It would take a fantastic senior season to catapult him into next years draft talk, IMHO. As for the starting D; I see it like this: DE- Lawrence...
  8. Let's Get the Ball Rolling for '07 (Emfinger/rankings/targets merge)

OL recruiting we probably go out of state, IMO.
  9. Dru Humphrey RIP

as i remember Dru was supposed to be better than Mo. I remember how shocked i was to hear he died. Although he didn't get to show it on the field, Dru will always be a Buckeye in my mind and in my heart.
  10. Glenville Pipeline

sehs95, i agree. I remember when Ginn Sr. made that comment and I was thinking huh? That being said, he is a promoter and is just trying to get his kids names out and hopefully get them to the best possible schools each player can go.
  11. '07 WI OL/DL Josh Oglesby (Wisconsin signee)

with the loss of Alvarez, i see Wisconsin recruiting slipping and I hope we take advantage of that and go into that state hard. Although extremely early in the process, i really like our chances of landing Oglesby. I wonder who recruits Wisconsin, i do remember us going after a few prospects...
  12. Let's Get the Ball Rolling for '07 (Emfinger/rankings/targets merge)

is Kyle Jefferson going to be pursued hard by OSU. Are any other Glenville prospects serious contenders for OSU offers? The Glenville to OSU pipeline is something special and want it to continue as long as possible.
  13. Let's Get the Ball Rolling for '07 (Emfinger/rankings/targets merge)

Who are the "must have" players in OH for '07? Besides Oliver, Evege, Torrence,Hinds, and possible Gamble/Mabin/Saine, who are the players you feel are must have players in Ohio. Haven't really given '07 much thought as I just recovered from obsessing over '06 recruiting so hard. Any info...
  14. '07 WI OL/DL Josh Oglesby (Wisconsin signee)

Josh is the one player in this class I want to land more than any. Hopefully, he saw Charlie Weis on ESPN yesterday gushing over Sam Young and realizes more of an ample opportunity in C-Bus. I expect this to be a lengthy recruitment and hopefully with the lack of tackles in the past class, Josh...
  15. 2006 NLOID Discussion (Open to All)

i will never doubt a Coach Tressel class. The man has not only proven he can recruit and coach the talent but more importantly he educates his players not only on the field but through "life lessons" as well. He is a truly great coach and from everything I've heard, an even more outstanding...

i agree with harrydangler that schwartz will be a star at osu. that video of him at QB running down the sidelines made me a believer. here's hoping the transition to DB for him goes well. As far as Kurt Coleman, if he is as good as people think he is than obviously he makes an impact this...
  17. 2006 NLOID Discussion (Open to All)

Enough about Meatchicken's recruiting triumphs, I mean woes. question: Besides Beanie, which recruit are you the most stoked to finally see in Scarlet & Gray? for me, it has to be Robert Rose. After seeing his performance in the Army AA game, i think he is an immediate contributor, ala...
  18. 2006 NLOID Discussion (Open to All)

that baffles me how a program like Michigan has slipped so far in their DB recruiting. They already showed the last few years the "size over speed" choices they made in their DB recruiting was wrong and the corners they do pursue just seem to not get it done (Harrison, Hall, etc). Not that I am...

i guess you could call Walter Dublin a Florida speed guy, although not a offensive player, he is just a pass rushing terror with LB speed.:wink2: "I thought stars were meant to be given out in kindergarten." -Patrick Bateman on the ranking process
