Every 30 min or so, BP is hanging on me. The page eventually fails to load altogether.
The first time it did it, bpSpy kept updating new posts (so perhaps it was just me), but I couldn't load any threads for about 5 minutes. All other websites were loading instantly.
The last few times, it's just been a 15-30 second timeout.
All of the times were triggered when I attempted to make a post or save an edit.

*thiiiiisclose* to shaving after I heard the news. Thought about starting fresh. Thought better of it. I won't shave until whatever sanctions are coming our way are lifted. It will be named "BUCKYLE'S ROUGE PROGRAM BEARD", and I'll wear it with pride.

Clarity, I haven't been able to keep abreast of your situation, recently, but I hope that all is well with you, Jo, and Vince (tell him I said hey). I continue to be amazed with this place, even moreso after being gone for awhile and seeing it through "new" eyes, again.

To clarify, I'd make the banner, I just wanted to ask in advance. I can run it through Deety if that's easier as well.
Is it difficult to add a welcome Nebraska banner to the top of the page temporarily?
It's clearly not necessary, so if it's a pain to format or puts a strain on the server, no need, but I thought it could be a nice touch.

Wondering if you could point me in the right direction...
1) I took PHP, ASP & MYSQL classes 7 years ago and successfully forgot everything I learned.
2) I remodeled a hideous church website, but when we moved to the new webhost, the CDONT language was not supported, so our potluck signup pages (ASP & database files) died. Like I have any idea how to convert it to CDOSYS
3) I need a virtual signup sheet. 10 rows, 4 for entrees, 2 for desserts, etc. A user goes to the webpage, types their name (like signing their name at church), and hits submit. Also need to be able to reset the form.
Do you know of a quick way to do this for a PHP/ASP illiterate feller like myself? Or could you point me in the right direction?
I've googled for way too long, but perhaps my illiteracy is hampering my searches.
