    delivery and warranty is nice... is the warranty from someone that will be around in 5 years to replace it?

    what is the surround sound set?

    one thing I notice:
    resolution: 1024 x 768

    you see other 720p plasmas on sale with this resolution. My TV is 1366xsomething... so yours has a few less pixels per square inch, so it won't be quite as crisp.

    Is the tv 60hz or 120hz?

    10% sale no longer going on, 5% seems to be continuing. TV is oos in many areas

    I'd seek out Iron's opinion on 60hz.

    but people are saying it's an outrageous deal for a decent tv at that price. nothing but crap off-brand stuff is that cheap.

    Panasonic 42" TC-P42X1 Plasma 720p for $599 - $60 Bing = $540 total cost

    LG 42LH30 42" 1080P LCD for $723 - ($106, hopefully) = $617 total cost

    answer: FYI: I own a TC-P42X1.

    If you have any intention of using the TV as a PC/Laptop monitor then go with the
    LG. If not, then go with the Panny and save a few bucks.

    couldn't tell. I tried going playaction fairly often, and there were not openings deep. I could occasionally find small 5-8 yard pickups over the middle if I had time in the pocket (infrequent), but the D was a little too good.

    The thing that really bothered me about the defense was he would pinch his 3 DL inside (lined up over the guards and center), and yet half the time the DE would still pull off a crazy speed rush around the outside.

    I like to use my 1-5-5 at times, but I don't consider that quite as cheesy, as that formation is used at times, even in the NFL. It's basically just a 3-3-5 with two LBs at DE.

    If you have time over the next day or two, set up a game with DUNN 44 LG or whatever his XBL name is... He runs a quarter defense almost exclusively, and it was a bit more suffocating than it should have been against the run. I want to get other opinions on whether that's a legit defense.

    The best way to test it would be to host a mock dynasty with our custom sliders, because online play just uses the standard ones.

    He also puts his WR at QB for Wing-T rushing plays, which wasn't too big of a problem for me.

    no one so far... about 75% of this is rephrasing what was already said, changing tense/wording to be first person instead of third, or vice versa.

    Once we're fully caught up, CentralMo can help run the College Gameday Final players of the week (we could hand out helmet stickers as well)

    My goal is to make this impressive enough that more people will participate. We need to get fothdog on here. I'm sure jthorp will participate when he's unbanned in 8 days :lol:
