Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

I can’t think that Day would entertain this when Noland has been all buckeye

Chris Holtmann (ex-tOSU Bball coach, HC at DePaul)

I feel like he is one deep MM or B1G run away from breaking into next echelon of coaching, with all the team/fanbase energy and recruiting mojo that comes with that. Been bubbling. Hope its a breakthrough year. They are fun to watch!

QB Discussion Thread, Cotton Bowl and 2024

I don’t think it’s smart to treat things like a scrimmage. I think you have to try the best to win the game - especially the final game for a number of seniors and other players. I don’t think it’s a good thing for team culture over the years to instill that bowl games that aren’t playoffs...

QB Kyle McCord (transfer to Syracuse)

I personally don’t take this as a good sign for the direction of the program

QB Kyle McCord (transfer to Syracuse)

I may be over interpreting body language, but it never seemed like he had a command and a comfort with what he was being asked to do. Tippy tappy feet, fading on throws, hitching, etc. Beyond just the “talent” - the last three guys did what they were going to do with command and force. Letting...

    2024 Depth Chart Projection

I wouldn’t be surprised if Jeremiah Smith ends up playing a lot on the outside, Tate moves to more of the “line up anywhere” role that we’ve seen in the past with Hill, Wilson, JSN, etc

THE GAME, tOSU at tCun, Sat. 11/25, 12pm ET, FOX

I think stability is important in a new AD, new President situation. Don’t know them so not sure I trust them to not make rushed or bad choices.

Thinking the game back through. To be honest I can’t name one mistake they made. They played the hands of the game basically perfectly. You could say we didn’t make them face enough mistake inducing situations. But they gave no margin of error for us to play with or breath from.

HC Ryan Day (2019 B1G Media COY)

Yeah - they’ll have huge tests all year. Can’t just chill and get ready for one game. CFB is gonna be a fundamentally different sport next season

The big one then is Texas losing is CCG. I expect FSU to drop one given unfortunate QB situation. And I expect Georgia to take care of Bama

We will be a dramatically different roster next year as well. I presume we will lose lots of 3 year guys on top of the seniors. Major change at RB, WR, TE, DE, LB

THE GAME, tOSU at tCun, Sat. 11/25, 12pm ET, FOX

While I don’t give a passing grade for Day, I also don’t see a viable alternative that maintains the rest of the success. Michigan had their “team of an era” for the past 3 years and that level is not likely to sustain. Who would be better? Day can improve zero % and still tie his record with...
