I actually grew up in Columbiana County, but I moved here two years ago to get my second degree... and Yes Mr. Hero is amazing, Unfortunately I don't get to eat there often B/C my wife hates it.
I grew up on Sussex, off of Westmoreland Rd...right by Canton Country Day. At least on Tusc you are close to Mr. Hero...I love that grease pit.

I miss Papa Bears and Mulligans. :(
Hahaha well I'm sure you'd remember drinking out of a plastic bag. I like some of the places Jong-jak, but I hate that you have to order side dishes.
Nope, doesn't sound familiar...like I said, I'm horrible with names when I'm drunk. The place we always went in Hongdae was in like a basement and was all finished in wood and they had a kickass music selection.
Yes, I think there's a Woodstock in Itaewon and I know there's one in Hongdae. The one in Hongdae has lousy music and you can't buy pitchers.

Did you ever go to Vinyl in Hongdae? You stand on the sidewalk and drink cocktails out of plastic bags.
We were friendly with the owner there at Seoul Pub, so we drank for cheap and pretty much lorded over the place. Isn't there a Woodstook in Itaewon too? I distinctly remember watching live bands there a few times. Most of the other places I've forgotten the names. Yeah, had some good times in Sinchon too.
Seoul Pub and I don't mix well. I really liked Brixx in Itaewon, on the hill next to KFC, but they changed it from a lounge to a half lounge/half techno dance thing...not nice. Wolfhound is also not bad, but they close early compared to everywhere else.

I really like Hongdae but I think my favorite place is Sinchon. Woodstock in Sinchon is one of my favorite bars ever. It's a shit hole but the music is awesome and the drinks are pretty cheap. I love seeing Koreans go bananas for classic rock.
Yeah, there was always a nice cornucopia of smells walking through Itaewon (well, moreso than anyplace else). I did enjoy Seoul Pub for the (reasonably) cheap Guinness and a German Restaurant whose name I can't remember. I always liked going to Hongdae for drunken exploits.
Ick...Itaewon. I live by Daebang station, two stops away from Yongsan on the blue line. I get all my bootleg movies there :)
Lived on Yongsan in downtown Seoul, right near good old Itaewon. Worked at K-16 Air Base just SE of Seoul proper.
No. I'm talking to a friend/playing games/talking to you. Didn't really think hard about it. :tongue2:
