can you send me the hoover H logo? maybe use sendspace.com and post the download link? or where you got it from?

I'd like to tinker with your uni on my profile.
yeah, I do. Haven't made it that far, maybe tonight or the next.

Yes, it's a wallpaper, I just size it down to get feedback. It should blow up into a nice poster as well.
Ic, you do know that voice has an app like feature for Blackberries right? Is that picture the basis of a background you're working on?
no, I still have my blackberry. I'm holding out in hope that another android comes along with a better keyboard (I want more distinction between the keys, even just a little bump like the blackberries), or that news comes out about a verizon iphone.
it looks a little busy....but I like the way you brought the players out from the surrounding image without losing anything from the background of each image. I'm sure it'll be less busy once you clean it up. looks nice.
Ignore the unclear edges, rough transitions, all of that will be cleaned up, enhanced and made a lot less busy (the backgrounds behind the players).

What do you think about the general layout?

If evidence surfaces that Tevaun is a serious target of OSU's, his thread will be made. Until then, we're not just going to show off his highlight reel here.
Thanks for the LOTR props. I have a Balrog name, figured I should have a pic that matches.
Make a database and a user for it in cpanel, which should also give you a folder. Get the 1.5.15 Joomla Full Package and extract it in that folder. Navigate to the folder in your browser, and it will walk you through the setup.

The only thing that can be tricky is that when it asks you for the database name and user, depending on the host, you may need to prefix it with your cpanel id, but not always. This would be cpanelid_databaseuserid and cpanelid_databasename. Host is localhost. (Edit - no prefix for passwords; wasn't clear.)

Delete the installation folder per instructions.

Go to Site>Configuration and play with settings. On the Systems tab, set the Session Lifetime high so you don't get logged out during development.

That's enough to play with for now. I'll pick some good extensions out and email you a .zip later this evening to save hunting around time.
I really think it has more to do with me being teh sexy.

BTW, with the multi-categorization and store stuff I've found lately, there tools are there if you want to try Joomla at some point.
