Yeah, I'm just trying to weigh all my options. Bama is giving me money already and they are pretty good in the programs that I plan to major in (Although Ohio State is better), plus a lot of my friends are going there.

Basically though, if I get the money I'll be in Columbus. Appreciate the advice though, I still haven't been to Tuscaloosa yet so I don't know what its like.

I know what you mean, I didn't want to pay the $30k+/year to go to OSU either. Seriously though, football bullshit aside, UA isn't for everyone. I know a couple of kids who went down there and they love the Greek life and athletics and everything else so much they didn't want to come home for break, but I know quite a few more kids who went there for things other than frat parties and football who didn't have very nice things to say about it. And Tuscaloosa, like a lot of areas in southern and western Alabama, can be pretty fuckin' shocking at times.

I'd take the visit, but I wouldn't go there if I had any other decent options. Good luck.

man it's nothing against you or Florida....although it did piss me off when the Florida player said he could think of 6 other schools that would have been able to beat OSU. It was just tasteless. Living in Knoxville, my beef is with Tennessee homers who cry SEC, SEC, SEC because they have nothing else to hold on to right now.......haha
