The GTX560Ti will be approx 50% better than the 280. Yet it also a much better overclocker, quieter, and uses less energy. It also brings DX11 support, and as mentioned on board HDMI (it works well, I used it). The GTX280 can still play any game out there in 1080p, but games like BF3 have to be set to medium and some low settings. In comparison, the 560Ti can play BF3 will mostly high and some ultra settings. The negative to the 560Ti is I could not give you warranty support.

The 280 was the top card 3-4 years ago, so it's still a solid performer. Yet is a little noisy and power hungry (probably uses about 50 more watts than the 560Ti). The 560Ti on the other hand is a current gen card and brings the benefits I mentioned.

It's an EVGA GTX280. It has a lifetime warranty for the original owner (which is me). So if anything goes wrong you would just have to contact me. As noted before, you would need to have a good power supply. It doesn't have HDMI out, but you can get a converter from DVI to HDMI (I might have one, I have to check...yet I believe they have some issues when converted). The other card is a EVGA 560Ti and has HDMI out with audio (it actually can send lossless blu ray audio). It also only needs 2 6pin connectors, where the 280 requires one 8 pin and one 6 pin. I also bought that used, so no warranty. Yet that one would be more expensive. I could probably go $160 for the 560Ti, $70 for the 280. Prices include shipping.

Amazon rocks. Great to the customer, and often give credits or small things when they can't honor a bad mistake.

Its cool. Hard to believe that saga was so many years ago now. Emily's twin, Megan, died at birth from trisomy-18. Its a genetic condition very similar to trisomy-21(Down's Syndrome). Instead of her getting a pair of chromosomes for the 18th spot in the strand of 21, a third chromosome came into play, and that throws off the whole process. She had many things wrong with her, including four separate heart defects. The longest anyone has ever survived past birth with this condition is about a year.
