BOOOOM! 4-star OL Harry Miller commits to Ohio State

The Buckeyes are adding some early depth to their offensive line in the 2019 class.
After an excellent April, that saw the Buckeyes land commitments from Ronnie Hickman, Noah Potter, Garrett Wilson, Steele Chambers, Cade Stover and Bryson Sahw, the Buckeyes stepped back a bit in May. They didn’t add a single commitment, as they reassessed the field and considered their needs. It appears they’re ready to move again, though, as moments ago, the Buckeyes added another commitment, as Buford (Georgia) offensive lineman Harry Miller announced his pledge.

Miller is the tenth member of Ohio State’s 2019 class, and the third offensive lineman, along with Huntington (West Virginia) tackle Doug Nester and Mentor (Ohio) tackle Ryan Jacoby. Miller, unlike his fellow linemen, is more of an interior player, and will likely spend his time in Columbus at either guard or center. According to 247Sports, Miller is the 36th ranked player in the country, and the second-best center in the class. He is the eighth-ranked player coming out of Georgia this cycle.
At 6-foot-4, 310 pounds, Miller has a fantastic frame for an interior lineman, and with some work under strength-guru Mickey Marotti, he should be a monster on the line for Ohio State for years. He has great technique and strength for a high school lineman, and Ohio State is extremely excited to have him.
Miller committed to Ohio State over offers from pretty much every major school in the country, including his four other finalist: Georgia, Clemson, Notre Dame and Stanford. Ultimately, Ohio State’s combination of on the field success, development (both as a player and as a person) and academics was enough to land a commitment from Miller.
Miller was on campus back on June 8, and it was that visit that ultimately sold him on Columbus. He was always planning on a summer commitment, and was prepared to commit whenever it felt right. Ohio State obviously did enough to convince him that now was the time. I expect that this commitment is solid, and Miller will almost certainly sign with Ohio State come December.
