You’ve got a number of free trials you can choose from of various lengths and breadths.

The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes have their third top-5 matchup of the season as they welcome the No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers into the Horseshoe today at 12 noon ET in a game airing on Fox. This game is the fifth of six-straight noon starts with the regular season wrapping up a week from now against the Michigan Wolverines.

Through the course of the rest of the season, the Buckeyes will play games on Fox and very likely will play on some combination of TNT, ESPN, ABC, and Max. With that many options, it can be tough to keep up with where and how to watch your favorite team.

As cord-cutting has become far more the norm than the exception across the United States, it would not be a surprise if you gave up cable or a live-streaming service following last year’s season only to realize that it’s the day of the game and you have no way to watch it.

And I know it can be incredibly confusing to find the best way to watch a game in today’s entertainment landscape. Fortunately for you, I am something of a streaming expert... no really, I write about streaming services for a living. So, I am going to walk you through the best — and cheapest — ways for you to stream today’s game.

How can I watch the No. 2 Ohio State vs. the Indiana Boilermakers college football game?

Game Date/Time: Saturday, Nov. 23 at 12 noon ET
TV: Fox
Broadcasters: Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt, Jenny Taft
Betting Line: Ohio State -11.5 | 53 o/u

Best Streaming Option for All College Football Games:
Hulu + Live TV | 3-Day Free Trial

If you’re either looking for a streaming service just for this weekend of football or to watch as much college football as possible, then Hulu + Live TV very well might be the perfect option. Everyone who signs up gets a three-day free trial, so you can watch the entire college football Saturday, NFL Sunday, and “Monday Night Football” without having to pay a single penny.

But, if you are looking for something for the whole season, then Hulu is great because it comes with ESPN+ (more on that below), so in addition to all of the channels available on the live streaming service, you also get all of the streaming-exclusive games via the worldwide leader’s platform.

Hulu + Live TV has one of the few guaranteed multi-day free trials in the industry and provides nearly all of the major cable channels on the market. The basic package comes with all of the major broadcast network channels — all of which have college football — ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC. It also has ESPN, ESPN2, Big Ten Network, FS1, FS2, ESPNU, CBS Sports Network, SEC Network, ACC Network, and the NFL Network (yes, they have college games) without having to sign up for any sports add-on plans. However, if you do want more sports, you can add NFL RedZone, MLB StrikeZone, FanDuel TV, the Tennis Channel, and more.

What’s great about Hulu + Live TV is that in addition to all of the broadcast and cable channels that you could possibly want, it also comes with the Disney Bundle for free. So, you also get the full on-demand Hulu library, Disney+, and ESPN+, which also has hundreds of college football games every season.

Currently, a subscription to Hulu + Live TV costs $82.99 per month after your three-day free trial. It is a little more expensive than some of the other options, but if you are just looking to watch this game, Hulu + Live TV is your best option.

Other Streaming Options for the Ohio State and Indiana Game:

DIRECTV STREAM: $87.99 per month five-day free trial
Sling TV: As low as $40 per month | First month 50% off
Fubo: $94.99 per month, at least a one-day free trial
YouTube TV: $72.99 per month

There is no hate like Ohio State-❌ichigan hate.

Now that the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes have wrapped up their 38-15 victory over the No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers, the calendar officially has flipped from Week 13 of the college football season to Beat M*ch*g*n Week! It is time to purge all of the blue from your wardrobe, put red Xs over every visible M on your social media profiles, and remove the world Michigan from your vocabulary.

While this year’s installment of The Game won’t bring with it the same stakes as we have seen the last two years, since Michigan is a shell of its former self this season, there is still much on the line for both teams. Looking at the good guys, while I don’t know if Ryan Day needs the win to save his job, considering he could still technically win a national title without a win next Saturday, losing for a fourth-straight year to the Winged Helmet Wingnuts certainly isn’t going to endear him to any Buckeye fans (or boosters).

For the Weasels, depending on what happens to them this afternoon, The Game could determine whether or not they become bowl eligible this season, which would be a hilarious outcome following a (tainted) national championship a year ago.

Be Prepared

  • Game Time: Saturday, Nov. 30 at 12 noon ET
  • Broadcast Details: FOX | Broadcast crew: Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt, Jenny Taft
  • FanDuel has installed the Buckeyes as 23.5-point favorites. That is the largest betting margin in the rivalry since 2020 when OSU was a 31.5-point favorite... which I’m sure had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Jim Harbaugh canceled The Game citing “COVID concerns.” I mean, we all know that Jimbo isn’t afraid to cheat to save his job, so — at least for rivalry week — I feel comfortable calling him a liar.
  • The Buckeyes are -4000 on the moneyline and the over/under total has been set at 44.5 point.
  • We will be bringing you two or three different podcast episodes every single day in the lead-up to the game, so make sure you subscribe on Apple Podcasts or whoever you get your podcasts.
  • This list is a couple of years old, so I have added some since, but here is a collection of nicknames for TTUN that you can use without having to call them by the name of their state. We’ve also got some decent ones for their former coach too.

What’s at Stake?

  • Heading into The Game, Ohio State is 10-1 on the season with its only loss coming by one point on the road against the No. 1 Oregon Ducks. While the Skunk Bears (5-5) play Northwestern (4-6) this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. ET, the defending national champions are still struggling to achieve bowl eligibility. Should the Wildcats pull off the upset in the Big House, the Pompous Princes would need to beat Ohio State to make the six-win plateau that would assure them of a post-season game.
  • With the Buckeyes’ victory over Indiana, Ohio State is guaranteed a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game should they beat the Corn and Blue next week. A win in The Game would also essentially guarantee them a spot in the College Football Playoff. The only question would be whether it would be as the Big Ten champion — with a first-round bye — or as an at-large selection. If they do earn an at-large berth, then their seeding will determine whether they host a first-round matchup in Ohio Stadium in late December or not.
  • The FanDuel SportsBook currently has the Buckeyes as the betting favorite to win the national championship at +320. Oregon is in second place at +440, followed by Georgia (+480), Texas (+550), and Alabama (+800). Penn State (+1800) is currently in seventh place, and Indiana entered the day in ninth at +2500, but that will obviously change following their loss in the Horseshoe this afternoon.

Here are some quick facts to get you ready for the 2024 edition of The Game:

  • Though the Weasels own an all-time record in the rivalry of 61-51-6, since Woody Hayes took over the Buckeye program in 1951, they are 30-40-2. Furthermore, since Jim Tressel became the OSU coach in 2001, they are 5-17 in the series.
  • OSU is 51-50-4 against TTUN in Big Ten Conference games.
  • M*ch*g*n is 3-5 against Ohio State since Jim Harbaugh was named the Maize and Blue head coach.
  • Ryan Day already has as many wins in his first four games as a head coach in the rivalry as Jim Harbaugh had in his first six.
  • In general, I think vacating games is silly; we all watched the contests and know what actually happened on the field, so pretending like the outcome was anything else for the record books is just dumb. However, if the NCAA decides to vacate any or all of the Mitten Men’s wins over their three seasons of blatant cheating, I will be willing to change my stance. While I don’t believe that their sign-stealing operations alone changed the outcome of any game in the rivalry, I acknowledge that the butterfly effect of winning games earlier in the seasons could have allowed players to avoid injuries or get more rest that — had they not been cheating — could have had some sort of substantive impact on The Game. So, if the NCAA eventually vacates those games, I will happily adjust those records listed above and there’s nothing that those whiney, self-important Michigan Men can do about it!
  • Wolverines are members of the weasel family... which checks out.
  • While everyone loves Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, the actual comic book version of the character is a short, stumpy 5-foot-3 asshole who nobody likes. Sure, he’s ferocious, but he constantly tries to steal another man’s girlfriend and is an absolutely awful father to nearly all of his more than 15 children. In fact, at different times in the comics, he has killed every single one of his biological children except for Erista, the son of Gahck, the tribal chief of the Tribe of Fire in the Savage Land

Looking Ahead

  • The current forecast shows a high of 31° F next Saturday afternoon under partly cloudy skies in Columbus. There is a 7% chance of precipitation with winds coming from the west at 12 mph.
  • We already know that FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff” will be back on campus outside of RPAC for the second straight week, and while ESPN’s “College GameDay” is unlikely to return, the Big Ten Network’s “BTN Tailgate” might very well be on hand as well — wait, do they still do that show?

We will be covering the rivalry game all week here at Land-Grant Holy Land, so make us your home for all of your Corn and Blue hate from now until next Saturday.

You know what else last happened in 2014?

Football coaches talk every week about winning the “middle-8,” meaning the last 4 minutes of the first half and the first 4 minutes of the second half. That is why many coaches, including Ohio State’s Ryan Day, defer possession when they win the coin toss. After giving up a 70-yard opening drive that resulted in a touchdown the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeye defense shut down the Indiana offense for the rest of the first half; the No. 5 Hoosiers ended the half with 53 total yards.

While Buckeye fans had to feel good about that aspect of the game, the emotions likely turned ecstatic during the middle-8. With the score tied 7-to-7, turnover luck swung in the Buckeyes’ favor as the snap went off the hands of Indiana punter James Evans. The turnover on downs resulted in OSU having the ball on the Indiana 7 with 1:41 remaining before halftime. Then, with 21 seconds left in the half, TreVeyon Henderson took the ball into the end zone from the 4-yard line, giving Ohio State its first lead of the game 14-7.

Indiana got the ball after intermission and the Buckeye defense continued to dominate, forcing the Hoosiers to punt from their own 27... and then, a miracle occurred. Evans’ punt was a strong one, and deep man Caleb Downs declined to catch it in the air. Instead, he collected it on the bounce and did something that hadn’t been done in just over a decade.

After an initial spin move, Downs realized that he had blockers lined up ahead of him. Because of that, the best safety in the country showed unbelievable patience allowing things to develop in front of him, and develop they did.

Downs took his time weaving in and out of traffic, never going full throttle, but following his blockers until he had run 79 yards to pay dirt, scoring the first Buckeye punt return touchdown in 3,654 days ago. The score put the Buckeyes up 21-7 en route to winning 38-15 over the No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers and putting them a win over Michigan away from the Big Ten Championship Game.

CALEB DOWNS TO THE HOUSE @OhioStateFB starts the second half with a bang ⚡pic.twitter.com/XT4Wrax5CI

— FOX College Football (@CFBONFOX) November 23, 2024

The last time that Ohio State returned a punt for a touchdown was one decade and one day ago in a game against Indiana. On Nov. 22, 2014, Jalin Marshall returned a punt 54 yards for a score. OSU won that game 42–27 in front of the home crowd at Ohio Stadium — just like today — and then they beat Michigan the following week 42–28 — hopefully it will be by a bigger margin next week.

I am old and my memory is not what it used to be, so could someone please remind me what else happened in 2014? I feel like the Buckeyes did something pretty special and exciting that season, but I can’t quite put my finger on what it was.

Anyway, we knew when he transferred from Alabama that Caleb Downs was a special player, and he has proven that to be true in his first season in Columbus. However, I don’t think that he has gotten nearly as much credit from the national media as he deserves. I’m not sure if a punt return will get him back to the forefront of conversations about the best defensive player in the country or the Thorpe Award, but he absolutely deserves to be there.

This other view of Downs’ return really shows just how incredible his vision is. He follows his blockers and finds lanes like someone who has the ball in his hands far more than a safety usually does. Downs is special, this play is special, and I think it very well might be a harbinger for even better things to come.

Every week, we will be picking the score, MVP, and major storyline for each Buckeye game.

Being the Buckeye beat’s black sheep blog, we here at Land-Grant Holy Land like to pat ourselves on the back. So, throughout the season, members of our staff will be making predictions about that day’s game. They will go on the record with what they think the final score will be, who the game’s MVP will be, and what the major storyline will be coming out of the day.

The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes will host the No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 12 noon ET in a game to be broadcast on the Fox. As of this article’s writing, the Bucks are 11-point favorites according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Matt Tamanini

Score Prediction: Ohio State 34, Indiana 13
Game MVP: Will Howard
Major Storyline: Will Howard will have his best game as a Buckeye. While it might not be his biggest statistical game, he will be efficient and effective both through the air and on the ground leading Ohio State to a clear and decisive victory and putting himself in position to crash the Heisman Trophy ceremony in New York.

Jordan Williams

Score Prediction: Ohio State 31, Indiana 20
Game MVP: Jeremiah Smith
Major Storyline: The major storyline coming out of this game will be Jeremiah Smith making a real case to win the Biletnikoff Award after he carries Ohio State to victory. With the offensive line concerns, Smith will catch a deep touchdown and have a few short catches turn into big gains that keep the offense moving despite a tough game.

You ask, we answer. Sometimes we ask, others answer. And then other times, we ask, we answer.

Throughout the
Ohio State football season, we will be asking and answering questions about the team, college football, and anything else on our collective minds of varying degrees of importance. If you have a question that you would like to ask, you can tweet us @LandGrant33 or if you need more than 280 characters, send an email HERE.

It was just two weeks ago — right before Ohio State played Purdue — when a majority of Buckeye fans were not expecting their team to make it to the College Football Playoff semifinals, and while this week’s LGHL Fan Survey didn’t ask the same question, it sure seems like there has been a bit of a sea change in the optimism across Buckeye Nation.

In this week’s survey, fans were asked where they expected the Buckeyes to be seeded heading into the playoff, and the results show far more confidence in the team than there had been just 14 days, despite the news that Seth McLaughlin had been lost for the season. This survey went into the field on Wednesday morning, after the initial reports of the center’s injury had been made public, so the Buckeyes’ circumstances were known while fans were responding.

Of course, since it is a game week, we also wanted to see what OSU fans are thinking about Saturday’s margin of victory. So, check out the results below and if you have anything that you want to add to the discussion, feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Question 1: With two or three big games left, where do you think Ohio State will be seeded in the College Football Playoff?

I’m not going to lie. based on the survey results from a few weeks back that I referenced above, I’m a bit surprised that half of all respondents are picking Ohio State to beat Indiana and Michigan to cap off the regular season and then to avenge their lone loss of the season in the Big Ten Championship Game by beating Oregon.

Thirty percent of respondents picked Ohio State to be the top team in the CFP field while another 20% put them at No. 2. Since the only way for a team to make the top four is to win their conference championship, that would mean that 50% are predicting that Ohio State wins out. Don’t get me wrong, I too am picking that to happen (although I can’t imagine a world in which Ohio State is 12-1 with three top-five wins and not No. 1), I’m just surprised that the percentage of Buckeye fans on board with such a storybook outcome was that high.

Give that Ohio State’s remaining schedule goes: a top-five matchup against an undefeated squad, then the rivalry game against the defending national champion whom you haven’t beaten in five years, then the conference title game against the unbeaten No. 1 team in the country, it would be understandable to expect any team to not emerge unscathed. But, it seems like the fandom pendulum is currently swinging toward optimism, and I am 100% here for that.

Question 2: What will the margin of victory be in Saturday’s game against Indiana?

When the FanDuel Sportsbook opened up this game for betting, it installed the Buckeyes as a 10.5-point favorite and that is where it remains; although it has moved up to 11 at otherbooks. Additionally, the gold-standard college football analytics model SP+ projects Ohio State to win by a score of 31-19.

In the Land-Grant experts' predictions article published this morning, I went on record calling for OSU to win 34-13, so that would put me with the 14% that called for the home team to win by 21 to 30 points.

It is interesting that even in a survey on an Ohio State fan blog — even though we don’t require certified fan credentials to vote — at least 23% of respondents picked the Hoosiers to pull off the major road upset. I certainly would not put money on that, but feel free to do so if the spirit of George Taliaferro moves you to do so.

Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Ohio State fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

About 30 minutes after Ohio State’s 104-60 beatdown of the Campbell Fighting Camels, head coach Jake Diebler sat down and spoke to the media about the game and the elephant in the room — Aaron Bradshaw.

The sophomore forward who transferred to Ohio State from Kentucky in the spring was not available on Friday night and is not participating in any team activities, per a university statement. The statement said that “per federal privacy law” Diebler cannot comment further.

When asked, Diebler referenced the statement, but acknowledged that he understood that there are more questions right now than there are answers. He was unable to comment on if there was a timeframe for his return, if Bradshaw needed to do certain things to come back, or if he would re-join the team at all this year.

Meechie Johnson and Evan Mahaffey also spoke to the media briefly about the 44-point win and Bradshaw’s absence. The two were unaware that at one point in the game Ohio State had connected on 10 consecutive three-pointers.

The Buckeyes take on an undefeated Indiana with massive Big Ten and CFP implications.

Wake up, everyone. It’s Ohio State game day!

After a quick pitstop at Wrigley Field, the Buckeyes return home for a huge matchup against No. 5 Indiana. The Hoosiers are unbeaten on the season, and are in the midst of the program’s greatest campaign of all time in their first year under head coach Curt Cignetti. While the SEC homers have been crying all week about strength of schedule, this Indiana team is legit, and both of these squads deserve a spot in the College Football Playoff regardless of Saturday’s outcome.

Over the past week, our talented group of writers and podcasters have put together preview pieces, analytical breakdowns, and everything in-between.

If you missed out on any of the coverage, we have you... well, covered. Below, each type of story is categorized. If you’re looking for podcasts and previews we’ve done, you can find them; if you’re looking for the betting lines and non-football topics, they are there, too.

Enjoy the day everyone. As always, Go Bucks!
