Your "Fast and Furious" Ride?

Cars are an excellent subject matter. Who doesn't like cars?
Any who. What is/was your "Fast and Furious" ride?

I had a 90 Mitsu Eclipse AWD Turbo. What a beast! 200+ hp. Fulltime AWD.
Amazing car. Once drove across Pennsylvania in a driving rain storm doing
80 , comfortably! No problem. She was slowish from the stop light.
But once that Turbo was wound up...she was gone! These cars weren't built along side the regular Eclipses. Much different car.

Also had a 83 Mazda RX7. Tiny little engine in a needle of a car. Motor just wanted to rev and rev. No vibration at all. 7200 rpm red line. Car just loved to be revved out. A hoot to drive. Bought it for my wife. Test drove a demo and told my wife, "Drive it like you stole it!" She took my advice.

I had a Katana 600 in undergrad. I never took the thing out of 5th gear as that was fast enough to scare the shit out of me.

2002 Mustang GT Convertible. Took the car in for routine service after the 3 months and the service manager told my wife that they made a huge mistake at the factory. Seems they gave us a Cobra engine. Now that is a mistake I can live with.....:)

Alas, I had it when I was 16-17, lacked adequate skills to keep it running well with any consistency, and sold it (miraculously for about what I'd paid for it and put into it). Still, for a brief period I had a badass ride.

When I got back from GWI I bought a new 91 Mustang LX, drove it up to Steve Saleen's shop in LA. He dropped in a 300 HP 351 & his trademark suspension.

I also had an 87 GSXR 1150 at the time.

While living in SoCal.

I'm lucky to be alive.

I've also had numerous cycles.
All of them scared the crap out of me at one time or another.
Still have my "vintage" Suzuki GS750ES.
Wish I still had my Triumph.:(
