Siesta Key wins hands down in my opinion. Been there over 30 times and would hop in the car right now if it was headed there.

I live two minutes from Siesta Key... awsome place to come visit... next time you're here stop by Captain Curts Restaurant/Bar... the Alumni meets there and they love OSU fans :) and if you have 750K you can buy a nice two bedroom townhouse.

All my trips to Sarasota to play baseball on Spring Break were excellent.

My best vaccation would have to be my week-long stay in southwest Montana 2 years ago June. We stayed just outside a small town called Darby right along the Bitterroot Mountains.

Absolutely breathtaking.

I don't know if studying abroad counts as a vacation, but I spent six weeks at Lancaster University in England during the summer of 2001. We were given three day weekends for travel and I saw a lot of the UK and Ireland.

If that doesn't count, then either my honeymoon to Jamaica last year or a two week road trip out to Yellowstone during the summer of 2003. Very different reasons as to why I liked these two trips.

I'm only about 50% sure it will work out, but I'm hoping to do another study abroad this summer in England, this time at Oxford. If I get to go, I'll be over there for a month and if my wife gets the big bonus we are hoping for this March then she'll be joining me for an additional week.

If by best you mean great stories to tell and all around crazy times then it was a college spring break to Cancun (12 of us... all I need to say is it was crazier than the wildest movie portraying spring break... whatever your imagination can come up with, it happened times ten)...

If fun with buddies then it was the Reno/Tahoe trip with three buddies (nights in Reno, days in Tahoe skiing:biggrin: ) for nine days...

If R&R is the perfect vacation then it was the ten days in Hawaii on our honeymoon (ocean front suite where we ate, drank, and slept next to the ocean...nothing but R&R)... for those going to Hawaii learn a lesson from me, don't do a suite, you're never in the extra room:wink2: ...
