as soon as the cavs are eliminated from the finals and cleveland fans' attention turns to the indians, they will thoroughly shit the bed. by then it will be time for their typical summer swoon where they play like ass for 2 months, only to turn it on at the end of august and have people saying they are only one or two players away. then they'll sign 4 washed up stiffs in the offseason and we'll repeat this cycle once again.

Super shitty by the long tosser. Even the run he gave up was manufactured. And personally, while all his strikeouts were after the third, I really liked how he was pitching to contact early.. not very many balls hit hard. Seager smoked a couple (one at kip) and someone hit one to the track, but given rajai excuse me'd one out to the same spot, not sure it counts.

If that Paxton kid learns to throw strikes, I'll be happy he's not in the central.

It's gonna be fits and starts with these guys, so I'm just hoping they keep pitching and our midseaon acquisition is Michael Brantley. Couple guys playing over their heads right now so the help would be nice.

Well, yeah...it's what they do. But at least they're providing a small distraction to the unmitigated disaster the cavs are right now.

Well, the got good Cody last time, so I think with the back to back 4 game series, and like 20 game days in a row, it made sense to give him a go (plus the Salazar thing, which I hope was just extreme caution). Presumably he gets optioned for Chamberlain.

My sympathies go out to Yan Gomes. Not only did the poor bastard suffer a "testicular contusion" last night, he endured the indignity of having this news scroll nationally on ESPN.

He's having an ultrasound on the family jewels today. Godspeed, Yan.
