Congrats to the Cubs
This Tribe team made this summer into fall so damn much fun I can't explain. maybe it's the norm on this thread to rag this team every chance you get regardless of outcome, if so, Hope you had fun doing it. But, if YOU are a true Tribe fan you'll appreciate what nobody in the world expected them to do this year. "Jobless Dildo's" will run with fun. True fans will stand tall and savor this great run these guys gave us this year.

Not living in Ohio anymore but getting to watch this run was magical to me. I'm heartbroken again that it ended this way for the Tribe but they gave it their all against a team that severely out matched them in almost every possible way.
They tried hard until the end.. I posted earlier tonight that I was upset that we seemed to have given up the last two games. Well these guys finishes strong which is what I was hoping to see.
So saddening that it has to end this way

And. As ive said before I have zero happiness for the Cubs theyve been mostly shit for the 100+ years and havent even really got close. Nowhere near the heartbreak the Tribe have put us through. So yea fuck Chicago fuck the Cubs fuck everything.

This is the first team that has sucked me in before the AS break since the 2013 squad. Before that is was the 07 group and we all remember how the 08 season went for the Tribe and the Brownies after breakout 2007 seasons.
It's a funny thing, baseball. It's pretty much the first sport you play. Especially when I was growing up with the neighborhood kids. For God sake I still hope that's a thing anymore. You got a bat, a ball and everybody had their own gloves. You would use just about anything you could find for a base. This is before you're old enough to play football and your body more attempt to the brutality it can bring. But there is a certain civility and magic to the diamond that deep down, every sports fan appreciates.
Football became and will continue to be my greatest love. But baseball.... she was my first love. You'll always have room in your heart for your first love.
