YOUR 2016 Cleveland Indians Thread (American League CHAMPS!)

Still pretty frustrated about last night. The game was right there with Lester not exactly sharp and plenty of chances but offensively this team just is not making the right situational plays.

Selfishly I was really really hoping to witness something and it would have been, not sure how to describe. Just finish it out in Cleveland, can't wait to see the Jake rocking. At least I had a great view at Wrigley.

im not even an Indians fan and Im nervous

Same. I'm an Indians fan because I live in Cleveland, but I really don't/can't watch baseball - until these playoffs, of course. But I succumbed to peer pressure and bought an Indians shirt. Plus, our Chicago office is a bunch of toolboxes on a normal basis - they're all being extra douchey lately.

What? You don't like it when Mitch and Murray send this guy out to the Cleveland office?

Against Arrietta and Hendricks. So winning tonight would be extra special. I'm not saying the former can't be hit off of but damn, that's a tough out to win a World Series.

I'd actually be more worried about Hendricks who was arguably the best pitcher in baseball the last 6 weeks of the season. Those six innings of shutout ball you saw from him on Friday were about a B- effort. Last year, Arietta was the clear ace, but I'd probably put him 3rd on the staff this year, not that he had anything close to an even mediocre year.

I'm no Pete Rose, but I think Cleveland needs to close it out tonight A fresh Hendricks again't Kluber making his third start in eight days in game 7 is the matchup I've been waiting for all series.
