Yea, I'm down with that. Over the past 6-7 weeks he's been about as good as we could have hoped for, which has been DAMN GOOD!

As crappy as today was, and it happens alot in baseball, tomorrow is a new, fresh start. It's the beauty of the game itself, of all the major sports it's the one where the absolute worst team in the league beats the absolute best team in the league multiple times a year. I respect that Tito went for the jugular today with Kluber. Problem was, they faced a stud on a roll in Sanchez and in reality they probably wouldn't have won today with Feller on the mound. Anybody who thinks this team can't win one out of the next three games is either a TBS analyst or a lifelong tribe fan. By that, I mean a guy that loves the Indians, as do I, and has become accustomed to seeing them come up short. Please trust me, they won't blow this series. DO NOT sell young Mr. Merritt short tomorrow. There is no "book" on him and that can be a problem for opposing hitters. PLUS, he has the luxury of knowing that he only has to go 4 strong innings, granted, against a great hitting team. The Tribe is in a great place right now, and for what it's worth, I'll just go on record and say this series ends tomorrow. And after his multiple home run game, Chisenhall is barely edged out by Miller as series MVP.

Would love to say "bank" but I can't. So I'll just say:

Peace

Okay, so forget the Chisenhall analysis and I did okay. This kid was absolutetly lights out today. Watching him, with that knee-buckling 85 mph fastball and all the other "goods" to go with it, the first comparison that came to my mind was Jamie Moyer. I truly believe that Merritt will be a player in our run to the Championship this year, and will do the same for the Tribe for years to come. Guys like Moyer (and hopefully Ryan) throw a total wrench into MLB hitters philosophies because of how unconventional they are. Kid just might be the "wild-card" in the World Series.

GO TRIBE!!!

GO BUCKEYES!!!

And as always:

Peace (To all my Tribe and Buckeye brothers)
