'You Are All Just Stupid Kids' - teacher said to 4-5yr olds

4 and 5 year old kids are pretty stupid - but any teacher should know that.
They're 5 years old, for crying out loud.

If the teacher can't stand kindergarteners, she should be made to teach middle schoolers. Then she'll know how good she had it before.

And so it begins - it was the drugs that made her go to the devil.
So what was the rationale for the previous face slap, let alone the earlier incidents implied in the article - and how can the parents (and school) be assured this does not happen again?

Sounds to me as if the old girl is plain tuckered out - time for her perhaps to go into some other less stressful line of work.

It wasn't all that bad. She wasn't screaming at the kids or acting hostile. Where she said, "You can be mean to me, so I can be mean to you" could've been right after some little shit was given a timeout by the teacher for being a brat-ass and the kid screamed "You're mean!". If that were the case, then I'd have no problem at all with her saying that. But, the news story doesn't give the whole picture. If the worst she did was call them all stupid (which appears to be the case), I'd say a week off without pay will get her attention, and maybe give her a needed break.

My senior year in HS our Physics teacher went off on us one day, told us we were the worst class he'd ever had and we would all flunk out of college after wasting our parents' money.

We laughed like hell about it afterwards (held it in during the rant) and he was right about a few of us, actually...present company excluded, of course. :biggrin:
