Ft. Drum soldier, wife charged with child sex abuse

A Fort Drum soldier who allegedly watched his wife engage in sexual acts with a tennage girl over Skype has been arrested and charged with a felony sex crime, state police said.

Shawn Raymo, 22, and his wife Jessica Raymo, 21, both of Gouverneur are each charged with one count of felony use of a child less than 17 in a sexual performance and one count of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

The alleged incident allegedly occurred while Shawn Raymo was deployed in Afghanistan in July 2011. While her husband was watching over Skype, Jessica Raymo allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a 15-year-old female, police said.

Three arrested in connection with armed robbery

Three people have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Poughkeepsie.

Police say on March 12th, a suspect walked into a Shell Gas Station, pointed a rifle towards the clerk inside and demanded money and cigarettes.

After a lengthy investigation, Donald Prusakowski, 21, Albert Clark, 23, and Jessica Raymo, 20, all residents of Poughkeepsie, have been charged with first degree robbery.

Georgia teacher accused of having sex with students

Atlanta (CNN) -- A Georgia high school teacher was arrested Tuesday after being accused of having sex with seven students, one of whom was 15.

The Charlton County district attorney charged DaNita Wilson, 32, with seven counts of sexual assault, and more charges may still be pending, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said.

"After we began the investigation, there was enough that developed to arrest Ms. Wilson," bureau assistant special agent in charge Stacy Carson said. "The investigation is still ongoing."

Six of the victims are over the age of 16, the legal age of consent in Georgia, while the seventh was 15 years old, Carson said. One was a former student who has since graduated.

"Some of the (relationships) had been going on for at least one year or longer," Carson said.

Wilson has also been suspended with pay, in accordance with regulations, until she has a formal hearing regarding her employment.

District officials began the inquiry Monday after receiving a complaint about the teacher.

Remember Sarah Jones, the then-26-year-old former Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader who resigned from her teaching position in 2011 amid allegations that she was sexually involved with a 17-year-old student?

Well, Jones pleaded guilty to felony custodial interference and misdemeanor sexual misconduct in October, keeping her out of jail. Then she and the student, Cody York, who, at that point was 18, went on national television to defend their relationship.

The pair?s bond may seem like a match destined to fail, but as it turns out, things are apparently still going well between Jones and York, who is now 19. They are going so well, in fact, that the two are planning on getting married. Like, married-married.
