I'd ask to see where the actual money used to buy the car came from, but that's just me.
Doug Archie, OSU's director of compliance, has said he has no reason to believe any violations occurred, but he acknowledged that the school mainly relies on the word of dealers and does not review paperwork after an athlete buys a vehicle.
This was the reason for my earlier comment. It was not meant then to imply there is something to this, just a lawyer-ish caution not to draw inferences from a compliance review too broadly if they just look at paperwork and not actual underlying financial stuff.

Malcolm will be on CFB Live at 3:30 PM ET (ESPN) for anyone who cares to watch. I generally avoid them but am interested in Malcolm's commentary, especially if Ray Small comes up.

Posted on Facebook by Nader Abdallah about an hour ago.

Sports illustrated called me asking about selling memorabilia for cash or tattoos. Sorry to dissapoint you but i have all 4 of my big ten championship rings and all 5 gold pants plus tattoos are against my religion. And my family raised me better than that. Coach Tressel is the best coach in the planet. Turned me from a boy to a man. Class act!! GO BUCKEYES!!!

As far as tell-alls go, this one seems to be excessively lame.

Once again a "new" story that turns out to be a former player basically re-hashing the charges that we have all known about for months. What a fucking hard hitting and important revelation for us all to take in!

You can't actually think that this shouldn't be reported, right?

In the massive thread regarding this whole ordeal it's being discussed at length with a LOT of former buckeyes openly bashing Small and calling him out on Twitter (which we cannot post here).

Also of note, it appears Malcolm Jenkins is upset that they called and interviewed him at length and he's very upset that the entire article turned into what Ray Small said and not what he/everyone else had to say.
