exhawg.....

I have played both and can't stand the x-box. I will say that the 360 looks great, but I will wait to compare them both when PS3 comes out next year.

Did you own a PS1?

What games do you like on PS2 that xbox doesn't offer? The Need for Speed games and Tiger Woods are both far better on xbox.

I don't use Live so paying for it doesn't bother me.

fair enough. it is refreshing to see a ps2 fan that does not break out into a frenzy when discussing the xbox controller :)

I have not personally experienced PS2's online gameplay, but most reviews I have seen are not very kind. $3 a month does not seem like an unreasonable amount to pay for xbox live.

not planning on doing so... tho for a 31 year old male you still seem pretty enamored by them

Oh, I am enamoured, I just don't want to display it in public for all to see. I am sure being a 31 your old that likes video games is pathetic, but I figure as long as I do it at home, nobody is harmed by it.

BTW, I loved the PS1 and bought the PS2 before I ever laid hands on an xbox..................once halo 1 came out and I really tried the xbox there was no turning back it was hands down better than the PS2.

Yes I did own a PS1 and also owned an X-Box. I am a big fan of Socom and Metal Gear Solid, not to mention Final Fantasy. So thats a big reason I don't play X-Box.

The exception was Knights of the Old Republic on X-Box, I love that game. Everytime it comes out, I have to borrow my buddies system to play it.

So your saying I should try that game? I just got the first Battlefronts game 2 weeks ago. I refuse to pay more than $20 for a game.

the fact that you are investing money in LucasArts games (KOTOR excluded) might be your problem. :tongue2: I love fighting as a jedi, but most of their games are extremely buggy. actually I haven't played battlefront II, so I can't comment. With the exception of halo 1 via LAN play at college, I was a PC gamer when it game to warfare (Battlefield, COD, CS, etc).

Unless your a sim nut, Project Gotham Racing 2 is pretty sweet too (tho it obviously pales in comparison to PGR 3 on 360)
