X-Men Origins: Wolverine Movie

ScarletBlood31

Buckeye in Blacksburg
Anybody planning on seeing this movie this weekend? I for one am pretty excited about it, I think it's going to be one of the few movies worth coughing up the cash to go see in theaters.

Up until a few weeks ago I was not too familiar with the X-Men movies, but have since watched all 3 of them and have been very impressed. Hugh Jackman is absolute money as Wolverine.

Hey now, all kinds of good shit coming out this year.

I doubt I'll go see this one in theaters, unless the reviews are very positive. For whatever reason I'm just not interested in X-Men. I've seen the other movies. They're good.. just didn't really care.

Reviews so far are good.

I watched the leaked copy. It would be nice to see it with all the special effects finished, but there are going to be too many good movies for me to see them all this summer. I'll have to catch this one on DVD. Star Trek is going to be the first movie I shell out coin for.

And how many of those people saw the online version that wasnt done?

Probably none of them, to be a critic on there you have to submit a resume' and be approved. As far as I know the early reviews are from premiers. The movie premiered a few days I think. These aren't just random internet people, they're legit people. :p

I've ninja edited this post about five times.

The movie doesn't come out until tomorrow, right? How could they have seen the finished copy?

See edit

Early screenings happen all the time. Pretty much every movie ever has had a pre-release screening. There are reviews for Star Trek already, too. There was a pre-release screening last week.

people don't make up movie reviews for the trailers. they get to screen it ahead of time.
Yes I know. I've never been on Rotten Tomatoes, and I assumed the reviews had been in for some time now for some reason. There is a copy of Wolverine leaked online that is the complete movie, without the blue screen stuff finished. Screenings for critics, to my knowledge, happen a day or two in advance of the movie's release, considering theatres don't get their copies (in my experience) until the tuesday before the friday it hits the screens.
