Thank you for being a bold witness for Christ on our campus!! Your example has changed the lives of so many people and until we get to Heaven, you’ll never know the impact that you have had on this earth; but I trust that when we get there, there will be a long line of people wanting to thank you for sharing the gospel with them and for living a life glorifying to God!

Romans 15:20 “It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known…” I pray that you continue to reach the “remotest parts of the earth” (as your father likes to call them) with the good news of Jesus.

At first it seemed odd to me that my friends would get nervous at the sight of you. I didnt understand, i had so much respect for you on the field and knew you were a great player.. but the idolatry seemed weird. Then your philanthropic ways and your kind, pure words began to sink in, and of course the AMAZING football games just kept coming … I am a die-hard Florida football fan, but never in 20 years have i found myself at a loss for words. At the championship celebration last year when you announced you’d return for your senior season, I… was at a loss for words. I found myself overcome and with tears in my eyes because superman would be back! That meant a chance to walk past you on campus and feel that giddy excitement people explained they felt in your presence and another chance to prove to the world that Tim Tebow is the greatest college football player to step foot on the field and to prove that Florida Football is a team to be feared. I realized Timmy, you’re my hero. You are the most kind hearted person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. My time at the University of Florida would not have been half of what it was without your amazing ability to shine and without your contribution to our football program.
Two days before the SEC game I finally ran into you and got a shirt that’s now framed signed. The two minutes walking along side you where you laughed that i was shaking and couldn’t say much but thank you solidified that you were not only a role model but you were mine!

Tim: A Little Poem:

GOD gave the world a precious and giving man,
little did he know GOD had a plan.
HE blessed your family and all of your friends,
Then along came football and all of your wins.
HE gave Gator Nation a little piece of you,
all of Gators watched as our dreams came true.
You brought Christ to your team, and you spread the word,
little did you know Gator Nation heard.
We love you Tim and may all your dreams come true,
You deserve the best, the Lord is watching over you.

Dear Timmy,

I want to thank you for the past four years and, in particular, for keeping yourself in such incredible shape. I know football is a physically demanding sport, and that you take quite a pounding from all the big, strong, sweaty linemen and linebackers (I can only imagine the things that go on under those piles). It?s been very apparent that you work out a lot to keep yourself in peak condition. I?ve noticed your bulging traps, chiseled abs, and powerful hind end. Thanks for all the memories. I?ve recorded all your games so I can watch them again and again and again. In the dark. By myself.
