Got a quote for a WRX TR - $23,500 + $1500 rebate and 2.9% for 4 years.

But the only ones they have are red and white. There are only two black WRX's in the entire state. :(
Black is hard to keep clean! And hot in the summer.
Go for the white.
Subaru red is not so hot looking. :(

I have a white car currently so I'm avoiding that color. Gray looks slick. Red looks like ass.

TR (Tuner Ready - talk about marketing at it's finest) is the base model. The engine, transmission, suspension (everything that matters) are the same between the three trim levels though. The TR doesn't come with the "premium" sound system that the other ones do, which I'm going to replace anyway...

it's better than my car though from the looks of the article Tao linked. Mine is the 2002 model which means I've got the flat four engine.

Black wheels on a white car would look cool! Are the gold wheels standard?
They look good, too!

Huh?! White isn't any easier to keep clean than black, in fact I'd say white is worse because there isn't much you can do about tar build-up on the lower half of the door panels; at least that isn't obvious on a black car.

The only benefit I've noticed from owning a white car for seven years, as opposed to any other color, is that (aside from the tar) it ages well and doesn't discolor as badly even after years parked under direct sunlight.

I like the looks of the 08 much better than the somewhat homely looking 07! YMMV.
