i think the benefits far outweigh that price but thats just my preference. if it was really an issue you wouldn't get a WRX altogether.

Absolutely untrue. With intelligent maintenance (meaning regular oil changes and not shutting the car down immediately after running it hard) the turbo will outlast the engine.

Even then, turbo replacement on the Subaru is a relatively easy task, and upgraded turbos for the car are plentiful and affordable.

It's not 1981 anymore. :tongue2:

Don't forget turbo-timers!

Save for getting an econobox or a mini-van, I'm going to get screwed w/ insurance for being a male and under 25. I guess they know a WRX isn't just another entry-level sedan, but whatever. Might as well bite the bullet for a couple more years and enjoy a nice ride rather than drive a POS.

Speaking of rides, a (very wealthy) friend of mine got a Gallardo over the weekend and I get to drive it this week!
