The old perv resigned....

Once he wasn’t the only person in control after the sale, he had to know he was fucked. The ironic thing is if he had just fulfilled the requirements of the NDA, she probably would have gone away. But because he’s gotten away with “stiffing” all kinds of people for decades (see what I did there), he couldn’t help himself, so he did it to himself.

I've had a Peacock subscription for years, it started with PL soccer. I've enjoyed the WWE content, including every PPV being part of it.

But when they move to Netflix in 2025, I'm done (if I'm even still alive). I tried Netflix once, didn't understand it's popularity, and won't go there.

So far as I'm aware, it's just RAW going to Netflix, not the whole thing.

BTW does anyone like the irony of Brock Lesnar being married to Sable and being involved with this lawsuit that took down Vince? Sable sued the WWF and Vince back in the late 90s or early 2000s over sexual harassment at one point. It's interesting how stuff like that ends up going around the full circle

No way someone worth that much is THAT dumb, right? Good lord!
He thought he was immune to any consequences.

We've finally found the reason why Shane and Stephanie basically left the industry entirely. I can't imagine what they are going through seeing all this shit revealed - I'm sure they knew about some/most of it, probably not all though. And the issue is Vince was, up until the sale to TKO, entirely powerful inside the WWE hierarchy, so they couldn't do anything BUT quit.

Yeah the crazy thing is, as I understand it, HHH, Stephanie, and Nick Khan (no relation to Tony) ALL voted against Vince returning after he resigned the first time, but somehow he still had enough power to override all of then and all of that and come back and take over again anyway. Stephanie has basically been playing dodge-a-father...she left, then when he left, she came back, and when he came back again, she left again. The final timeline will be quite something when all of this is finally revealed, as will who knew what when (lifers like Bruce Pritchard, Kevin Dunn, etc. may not come out looking so good).

He has always thought he was immune from consequences for anything after the steroid trial, but this seems...different. For a guy that has been said to be a complete work-a-holic with no interests and no hobbies (Jim Cornette has famously said his wrestling would have been much better if he ever watched anyone else's) he spent an awful lot of time and energy manipulating and breaking this woman. We'll never know what was going through his head, but it seems like he has reached a point where he doesn't even live in reality anymore.
