Met him when I was a kid at one of those WWF/E fan events before a big PPV show (forgot which one it was). Very nice guy. Pretty wild life story and super-talented entertainer.

IMO the best promo-cutter of all time (at least my personal favorite).




I really thought he was a Cuban from Miami until he went to WCW and wrestled under his real name. I still remember thinking, "Wait a sec, Hall isn't a hispanic last name?" :lol:

I showed two things to my son tonight - not that we really watch pro wrestling anymore but some things are still fun to look back at.

The ladder match with Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania X remains one of the best matches ever and one of the first real high profile ladder matches in the early modern era. A lot of the spots they did in that match just weren't done even though now they are common place.

His first promo in WCW in 1996. "You know who I am, but you don't know why I am here"....absolutely classic.

RIP.
