Theres a new article on buckeyegrove.com if anyones interested.

Rivals $

5/31

By Mike Farrell... Terrelle would like to have a top 10 list soon, but says that PSU, tOSU, Tennessee, and Florida are a few that will likely be on there. He likes the strength of both basketball and football programs at tOSU, and has been talking with our commits. He thinks he may come to one of tOSU's summer camps. Basketball will play a factor in his decision.

As a SF he could be a plug-and-play come early January...
If he was a PG.. that would be difficult...

As long as he knows his basketball NC quest starts sometime after January 8th.. cuz that's when he'll be playing for our football NC :osu:

players of pryor's rare ability think about national championships. with ohio state, he knows that he can make a run for a national championship in football as well as basketball

Ding..ding..ding. We have a winner! IMHO this is the most important point in this entire thread.

There is one school, just a comfy car ride from home, that competed this year for the National Championship in both his favorite sports. The guy who plays his position on their football team just won the Heisman Trophy. The star of their BB team just got drafted #1 in the NBA and signed a $3 million deal with Topps, with the high-dollar deals still to come. TP's peer recruits from the football team are calling and texting every day urging him to join them there -- and several of them are O-linemen, every QB's best friends.

Whether or not TP's dream of playing both sports pans out, there's really only one place where it is a legitimate possibility. [One place, that is, that's not too long a drive or too hot a climate.]

All in all, I like our chances!

Not to mention we also have a nice group of people to catch the ball for him (devier and stoney) and a star in the making to run the ball (devoe). why would you go anywhere else?:oh:

Tag team, Tressel and Matta?

Thats quite a recruiting tandem. Both are amazing recruiters. It can only help us that not only do we have two great programs (basketball and football) the coaches that lead the programs are equally as great. How awesome is it that recruiting genius Thad Matta might be able to help the football team land a huge recruit? We are truely blessed with the coaches we have.

Me thinks PSU fans lost their lunch after reading that statement.

Not really, because PSU was still one of the 4 schools he mentioned will make it into his top 10.

Besides, PSU may be the only school that can tell him "Yeah, one of our players, wide receiver Jordan Norwood, played on the basketball team just last year." In an environment where Pryor is skeptical that a lot of recruiters may be just telling him what he wants to hear, solid proof that PSU is telling the truth that he can play both sports may weigh more heavily than promises from schools with better basketball teams.
