QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

edit: NM i found which one and yes he did. If thats what made him play so well against scUM, then i dont care if he covers his face with 'em!

Maybe 2nd half Pryor haha but First half Pryor was uhh not so much.. That was actually his worst passing performance of the year! I think whatever he did for NW he should keep doin!

Is there an argument that Pryor should've been named Scout first team freshman All-American over Russell Wilson of N.C. State?

Scout's rationale is that N.C. State wouldn't be going to a bowl without Wilson. You can't penalize a good team just because they're good (by saying OSU would go 9-3 with Boeckman).

Pryor ranked No. 3 on Scout.com's early 2009 Heisman Top 25.

Very early. Behind Tebow and McCoy.

I saw that too, it's nice to see the national respect, but as with all preseason things I feel its too early, especially when this season hasn't even ended yet. Let's see his bowl performance before the national media can jinx any Buckeye.

I saw that too. What stuck me most was this part...
These stars could be this year's out-of-nowhere picks with the right breaks.

Jimmy Clausen, QB Notre Dame; Toby Gerhart, RB Stanford; Mike Goodson, RB Texas A&M; A.J. Green, WR Georgia; Robert Griffin, QB Baylor; P.J. Hill, RB Wisconsin; Julio Jones, WR Alabama; Jake Locker, QB Washington; Ryan Mallett, QB Arkansas; Joe McKnight, RB USC; Michael Smith, RB Arkansas; Adam Weber, QB Minnesota
Let the hype begin...

Do I see two black strips under Pryors right eye? It looks kinda goofy if he is...

At the end of the day, aren't they more for show than anything else. I mean you see guys only wearing one or wearing them in the wrong direction. On that subject I prefer when he wears 1 block "O" with 1 Buckeye decal.

Wouldnt piss on them if they were on fire.

Damnt why do you people have to bring up ND and force me to hijack every thread. It isnt my fault. :wink2:
Yeah but come on. The Pickle isn't going to play mistake free enough. They go 7-5, Cap'n Vlassic throws more pics than TDs. Charlie Weis Gets locked in his Limo and goes Pizza the hut on himself... "Boss you're delicious"

Rivals.com College Football - Rivals.com 2008 Freshman All-America teams

RIVALS.COM FRESHMAN ALL-AMERICA FIRST-TEAM OFFENSE
QB Robert Griffin, Baylor

FRESHMAN ALL-AMERICA SECOND TEAM OFFENSE
QB Kellen Moore, Boise State (redshirt)

 What a freaking joke.

PASSING:
Griffin: 160-267-3 (60.0%), 2091 yards, 15 TDs, 142.0 rating
Moore: 259-370-9 (70.0%), 3264 yards, 25 TDs, 161.5 rating
Pryor: 95-152-4 (62.5%), 1245 yards, 12 TDs, 152.09 rating

RUSHING:
Griffin: 173-843 (4.87 ypc), 13 TDs
Moore: 36--20 (-0.55 ypc), 1 TD
Pryor: 124-553 (4.46 ypc), 6 TDs

Considering that Griffin plays in a conference that plays absolutely zero defense, and Moore plays in the fucking WAC, you'd have to take their stats with a truck load of salt.

True that. Conversely, if you saw what kind of support Griffin has around him (the null set), you'd have to say he did a whale of a lot pretty much on his lonesome.

Frankly, Robert Griffin being above Terrelle is no shame; Griffin is a man amongst boys (those being his teammates). Moore, of course, is another matter.

Pryor had a higher completion percentage, higher yards-per-attempt (8.19 vs. 7.83), better attempts-per-TD ratio (12.67 vs. 17.8), and significantly higher passer efficiency rating. The only major area where Griffin was better was TD/INT ratio (keep in mind that one of Pryor's INTs came at the end of a first half where he just launched it up for grabs into the end zone). Griffin was 6-19-1 for 71 yards and 1 TD against Texas...I'd like to think that Pryor is going to fare considerably better on Jan 5th.
