WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Terrelle could definitely do both sports but I see him as a cog in the football program and a "role player" type for basketball. I would imagine as soon as he starts getting Heisman talk that Matta would have to take a backseat to Tressel for Pryor's playing time1:wink2:

If he ever played basketball all year like the other top prospects, he would be in the top 10. He plays at a small regular HS while a lot of the other top prospects play at prep schools or basketball factories. They are further developed because of it. As far as pure talent, Pryor is a top 10 prospect in basketball.

Norwood has seven minutes and zero shots on the year. I don't see how that can have a positive effect.
theyve got a kid doing it though. theosu hasnt had one since salley (gamble was going to but after 02 he was worn down/realized he had big time potential in fball vs min pt in college basketball). i do go back to what some people said before the last person to have success was c ward.

I would hope the kid doesn't need to see it going on at OSU to believe he'd be allowed to do it. I know coaches lie and bend the truth in recruiting...but I doubt any staff would tell him he could play both and then not let him.

i don't think our staff would bend the truth just to lure a player to tosu. their policy has always been consistent in such that they are upfront with the recruits about the possibility of playing multi-sports in college. as long as they take care, first and foremost, of their academic and their first choice of sport then prove that they would still be able to handle another sport.

:osu2:

osu.edu ROCKS!!!

Someone on the staff needs to text Terrelle and tell him we've already started on the #1 recruiting class including a cornerstone to the best offensive line class, maybe that we've ever recruited!
