There are two type of coaches...
One is steadfast on a scheme and forces his players to play it
The other evaluates his players strengths and weaknesses and creates a scheme around it

You do not win multiple NCs unless you are a coach of the latter style...
Last I checked, JT has numerous

Terrelle says he does have a concern about tOSU's offensive scheme as compared to WVU and Oregon.
Well, he will be asked to regularly pass beyond 5 yards and not run on 90% of 3rd & longs, unlike WVU.

Hopefully a simple rebuttal, any coach who doesn't adjust his scheme after switching from Troy to Todd is a pretty lousy coach. Pretty well established what Tressel did going from Craig/Justin to Troy.

what i find interesting is that he was just quoted recently as saying WVU's offense doesn't throw enough for his liking. i would suggest he play qb at one of the service academies if he wants to run the ball every play.

Well, I didn't see good utilization of Troy in the NC game. In the 2nd half, after the first couple of series, I think JT should've asked Troy to run more. Troy was eluding the pass-rush, but the WR's weren't getting much free, eventually leading to coverage sacks or throwaways.

But I digress. I still can't get over the pain. Back to Pryor.

Perhaps, but I'd argue he over-featured Troy when Pittman deserved the ball.

Anyway, given the conflicting quotations (wvu doesn't pass enough vs will he fit in osu's scheme like wvu/uo), some may be right that this may be overstated or a smokescreen.

I was thinking about that as well.

I figure he just read my post in this thread and is just saying that to mess with our heads.

For those that don't have a Rivals premium membership:

Pittsburgh Sports Insider - Blog Archive - NEW LEADER FOR PRYOR?

It was assumed that Ohio State was the leader to land Jeannette’s Terrelle Pryor. If reports are true, that has changed.

It looks as thought a new school has been added to the Terrelle Pryor Sweepstakes. Mike Farrell of Rivals.com is reporting that Pryor has added a new school to his short list and removed another.

Pryor told Rivals.com that, “Oregon is now on my list. I spoke with coach Mike Bellotti this week when he came out to visit. I think he was in New York with Dennis Dixon……..but they’ve been recruitinig me hard for a long time and I really like the offense. They run pretty much the same stuff that we do. I’m thinking about taking an official visit out there. The quarterback situation out there looks pretty good as well. I don’t believe anyone who tells me I’ll play from snap one, that’s just now the way it works but coach Bellotti never toldme that, he was honest and up front.”

Continued...

Like jwins said, a simple rebuttal clears the air...I am not worried about any of this in the least...

That has been asked more than once around here - consensus opinion: it is either Pryor or nobody.
