WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

I hope he slips to late in the first round. I'd like to see him with a team that would be able to use him properly, rather than made a #1 option for some lousy team right away. He'd look awfully nice in a Bears uniform... Ginn on one side, Berrian on the other... nice.

Chad Johnson on one side, Ted Ginn on the other, Housh over the middle - very nice, (and we'll trade you Henry for two picks to be named later).

In 30+ years following this team, Teddy was by far the most exciting to watch in the sense that you literally held your breath on EVERY touch.

It's a bold satement, but I doubt we see anyone bring anything near what he gave us in the next 20 years. He's a once-in-a-generation talent. By far the fastest player I ever saw on a football field. Best of health, then best of luck at the next level.

I still believe that Joey Galloway is the fastest player I've ever seen. Ted Ginn Jr. is definitely a special player though. We'll miss him. I hope he does well in the NFL.

World Class speed doesn't come around that often - thanks for your time, Teddy.

On a side note - Galloway was amazing. There is a post somewhere in here with his 40 time and bench at 4.25 and 400lbs - 400lbs???? remember, he only weighed 180-190 when he was at tOSU.

I will definitely miss Teddy, Pitt, Gonzo and, of course Troy. Let's see how Saine and Ray Small fill in for speed.

I agree for the most part, but don't turn your head on Ray Small. From what I've been hearing the kid is going to be something special.

God, Ginn a Bengal?? I would puke. It is bad enough having Santonio a Steeler, but having both these guys on rival teams of the Browns, it would be brutal watching the games. :bonk:

I'm going to miss Teddy, but not that formation...it rarely worked.
It's too bad he got hurt... there were supposed to be plays designed around him and that formation for the bowl game.

As far as not working, it seemed to work in 04 when Ted had trouble beating press coverage. After that, I'd agree with you.
