WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (All B1G, All-American)

it makes too much sense with all of our draft picks to trade and Teddy being from Cleveland...refusing to get my hopes up after we passed on Troy. The line about wanting "strikers" just makes it seem like a perfect fit, so it won't happen....

I know, I'm making no imotional investment in this one myself. But man would it be awesome buying a Teddy jersey. At the Indians game yesterday they have celebrity birthday's on the scoreboard - When Teddy's came up that crowd gave a pretty loud cheer. We don't soon forget the great one's. :)

If a 5th is the going rate for Santonio Holmes, I would think it has to be similar or lower for Ginn. Holmes has his suspension and behavior issues going against him, and Ginn has his production going against him. The Browns have a buttload of 5th rounders. That should make this a no-brainer, which is why it won't happen.

I'd call 'em up and use one of this year's 6th rounders as a starting point. I probably wouldn't go above offering the second of the Browns' 5th rounders. I might combine one of those picks this year with a future 6th or 7th rounder.

Ginns not going anywhere. This guy is full of crap and speculation. Sensationalist journalism trying to stir the pot. His contract isnt much for where he was drafted and this seasons "no cap" rule makes sense for him to stay at least through the season. Now if Miami were to be offered a sweet deal I'm quite sure they would take it.

The front office is now looking at Ted Ginn running free through the secondary vs safeties from the slot and licking their chops. Hopefully this signing of Marshall takes some spotlight off of Ted and he can get himself together. I know as a Phin fan that the offense just got a huge boost if Sparano moves Teddy to the slot. I really like Marshall, Ginn, Hartline and Bess as a recieving corps. Add in Camarillo's reliability and you've got something going there.

I for one, would love to see them draft Jermaine Gresham with their first pick and address NT/S later.
