Hazell really started to gush, however, when talking about big T.Y.
"He is going to be spectacular," Hazell said.
"He might be one of the best guys ever to come out of here. He is a long ways away in terms of learning the game, but he is going to be a phenom. I love him."
Williams steps out
One moment it looked like T.Y. Williams had grease on his hands. The next it looked he had dipped them in stickum, especially with the way he grabbed a 68-yard touchdown pass from Taylor Graham.
The receiving corps - thought to be in critical condition with DeVier Posey suspended the first five games of the season -stepped up, with Reed catching the TD pass from Guiton, Corey Brown a 15-yard TD pass from Miller and Ryan Ross a 16-yarder from Joe Bauserman.
"That's definitely a confidence booster (for them) and they're happy," Posey said. "I am really excited for those guys. I know how it felt to be a young guy, and you just want to prove how you can play and how you're supposed to be here."
T.Why?
It was another rough day for T.Y. Williams. The young wideout from Cleveland has had an exhausting time trying to catch the ball so far this fall, and it seems to already be affecting his confidence.
Even before we walked through the gates to practice, I witnessed Williams dropping passes during drills. He was consoled by Posey, who has become a second coach on the field for the young wideouts.

It didn?t help too much, as Williams bobbled a pass from Taylor Graham during 7-on-7. It looked like he had the catch, but lost control of the ball and batted it up in the air where it was intercepted by walk-on Chris Maxwell.
Williams has already fallen behind classmate Verlon Reed at the split end position and while he continues to struggle, Reed is making a name for himself as a sure-handed receiver with the first-team offense.
