Lions signed WR Roy Hall.
A fifth-round pick of the Colts back in 2007, Hall was active for four games in 2008 and has one catch on his NFL resume. He'll give them a bit of depth with Derrick Williams out for the year.

In order to showcase some of the young and successful people in the city, we decided to interview some of our favorite professionals. These people have established themselves within their field and are on a positive career path. They have a genuine passion for what they do and that is what interests us the most!
Roy HallMeet Roy Hall. He is 27 years old and has many titles. The former Ohio State Wide Receiver and Business Major, is now a professional athlete, the founder of the DRIVEN Foundation, a Personal Trainer and an Inspirational Speaker.
What does your job entail?
RH: I play professional football. I?m a wide receiver. Outside of the obvious, I have to study tons of film on the opposing teams, stay on a strict diet and perform while being evaluated on a daily basis. As the founder of the DRIVEN FOUNDATION I wear a lot of hats but the most important is doing everything I can to increase the probability of young people being successful in these tough times! As a personal trainer, my job is to help individuals reach their physical goals. Whether its weight loss or muscle gain, I motivate people to ?get it done!? Lastly, as an Inspirational Speaker, whether I?m speaking to a class of 15 or an arena packed with 14,000 people I speak from the heart. I share relatable stories and experiences that inspire people to stay DRIVEN.
Why did you choose your current career path?
RH: Football is a God given talent. Not many people are built for both the mental and physical parts of the game. I worked at my craft for 12 years before it became a career; 4 of those years were at The Ohio State University under Coach Tressel. God?s blessings mixed with a DRIVEN spirit put me in position to become a professional athlete!
How would you like to see your business/foundation grow over the next 5 years?!
RH: 5 years from now I would like DRIVEN to have a large facility that hosts classes, after school programs and athletic programs. It will be a recreation center on ?steroids!? The community needs a place or a few places that teenagers can retreat to and still feel safe. (Sidenote: Visit www.drivenfoundation.org to see what his foundation is all about!)
What are your favorite things to do in Columbus?
RH: I truly enjoy going out to eat at restaurants. The nicer restaurants generally have a ?lounge? feel to them. Visiting the movie theater in Arena Grand is probably my second favorite hide out.
Lastly, what is the #1 thing on your bucket list? (i.e. thing you want to do before you leave Earth)
RH: I want to sky dive! Seriously! I want to jump out of a plane and fly!
