Glad to see I can put my #7 jersey on again this season and see a contributor wearing it during the games. I thought Henton had promise but he never lived up to the vaunted #7 mystique. After all 7 and touchdowns are synonymous.

Columbus -- Elwanda Thomas showed up at Ohio State's team photo day last week wearing a No. 7 OSU jersey with the name "Flash" on the back.
She must know a Buckeye. She actually gave birth to and helped develop one of the fastest Buckeyes.
Freshman receiver Lamaar "Flash" Thomas, a state champion in Maryland in the 55 meters and 100 meters, is challenging sophomore running back Brandon Saine, an Ohio state champion in the 100 and 400 meters, for the title of fastest Buckeye.

I think flamboyant has a slightly different connotation these days than it did in the 70s. Not sure if Flash would be interested in picking up that as a nickname.
