I was just about to create a thread for him today if someone else didn’t

All signs pointing to Noah being a Buckeye. And Kurelic spoke with an analyst who follows NC Hs foootball and said Noah is the best prospect in 15yrs(over Gurley and Lawrence)!
Crazy that a borderline 5 star kid is being CB’d and future casted to Ohio State and we didn’t even have a thread on him. And it’s not like it was out of nowhere. For some reason I thought there was one. I guess we’ve just been discussing in the recruiting thread

Yeah, that’s been the gift and the curse of the recruiting threads. Gift: we talk openly about recruits and other recruiting topics; curse: we overlook recruits because they’ve been talked about in the recruiting thread.

Nothing left for me to say about this kid that I already haven’t in the recruiting thread. Rogers could be in line to be yet another OSU all B1G, All American and 1st round pick by the time he leaves college. That good

If anyone sees that we are lacking a thread on a recruit with an OFFER and legit interest in Ohio State, please send me a PM and I will start a thread.

Heck LJB, most of us (especially us on the left coast) wouldn't even know that a kid has a schollie offer from tOSU without BP......but, I'll say this (probably echoing several), that if this draft doesn't show these WRs where they need to go to be trained and schooled, then they simply aren't paying attention. Add those already in the NFL, and it should really be 'game over'. Even at #12, he wasn't able to crack the line-up, so went to Bama and starred, and I'll put vcash on it now, that Najigba will go higher next year. Go Bucks! Now get the OL etc to complete setting the table.

The draft was basically a manifest of what Hartline already had in motion. Olave and Wilson were the two best WRs in the draft, it is a rare thing to pull that off. Then you know JSN is likely the #1 WR to go next year and likely in the top 10 as well. Then you have the same possible outcome for guys like MH Jr, Fleming, etc. We have recruited well at WR for some time, but not to the level of Hartline where we don't even have spots for top 100 overall guys at WR right now.

That doesn't apply to Rogers, who is an OFFER all the way imo and I am excited that he is looking good to be in this class, I just mean it is insane the guys we are having to say no to at the position because of how well we are doing. Last year we had a class of Burton, Antwi, Grayes and Brown, all top 100 or borderline. And that comes from Texas, Georgia, Arizona and Illinois respectively, which to me means we are just getting the best out there and it doesn't really matter what state. Point is that guys like Rogers flocking to the Buckeyes at the WR position is going to be the rule and not the exception moving forward. Same goes for QB now.

PS - Not going to lose vcash to you on that JSN bet.

RB07, can't disagree with your loquasciousness....I do worry about Fleming due to his delicate constitution. Too easy to have others pass one, and getting back into great football shape, he's starting to sound like a Babb guy. Hope I'm wrong, but Ebuka and Harrison (at least to me) are the heirs apparent to the WR positions. Someone of your above list will separate themselves by outworking or out-talenting (out blocking?) the others, and ascend into the starting line-up. Believe Hartline is a master at rotating into the line-up, thereby keeping the WRs fresh, but probably more importantly engaged in the process. Too easy these days to pout and look for greener pastures elsewhere - especially with the kind of cash being thrown about. The Bungles (guess can't really say that anymore) head coach is merely the latest in a line of coaches that say they like tOSU players, who come in prepared and ready to work/learn. One of the factoids thrown around was that Hartline was a fourth rounder, and did ten (!) years in the league. Shows he knows how to stick, and passing that on to the young 'uns. Hope our D can catch up and keep up with our O. Go Bucks!

Fleming has to get healthy and put on a session, no doubt there. But if he doesn't, there are so many guys that will be ready imo...Ballard I am crazy high on, and this incoming class I don't even have a prediction on who will be the immediate impact bc of how talented they are (best guess is Grayes only because I swear that I'm watching Olave when I watch his film). But probably getting ahead of myself a tad because yeah, Egbuka and Harrison Jr are next up imo.

As to Rogers, we have proven that if you show up and work, then things work out at WR right now. It's so good that even if you don't win a starting job, you can go top 15 (Jameson Williams). That is ridiculous by any measure. The '23 WR class is going to be insane I would imagine and for good reason, if I was the parent of a top WR recruit objectively I would want Hartline being his coach. Proof is in the pudding.

I agree wholeheartedly with your points. But to play devils advocate, I can see a number of parents and kids who don't want their kids to wait, and want them playing from Day 1, or close to it. And then the NIL effect will also be a major factor. But what Hartline has done is just produce crazy productive WRs, and it shows that when you buy in, great things will happen.
