WR Michael Floyd (Arizona Cardinals)

ND has always been the leader, but apparently he is open to looking at other schools now. Kind of like DeVoe in reverse.

That's how I see it. It's nice to see us as the co-leader but I would be very surprised if he didn't pick ND.

Mike met with the new Minnesota staff and is interested in the Gophers. However, he says tOSU and ND are his leaders.

Glad to see the change of prospective! I'd already written the kid off as a domer based on the previous updates. The Devoe Torrence theory makes a lot of sense here. On second thought, I think Glenville has a copywrite on that theory already.

Is it just me, or has recruiting gone haywire since high school playoff season this year?

I knew you were going to ask that...can't I even get my coffee first?

My take: Cretin-Durham uses Mike in a number of ways on offense. He is a WR, a RB and an H-back. Runs very well for a guy who is his size. Competes for balls in the air very well. Built very similarly to Robiskie. Most of the clips are of Michael running a straight go route, running a slip screen or taking a pitch, so it is tough to see what kind of a route runner he is. Does a good job in space of working back to the ball and is dangerous in the open field...has gret vision and does not slow down making cuts. Tough to bring down...runs very hard. Doesn't have top-end speed, but has plenty. Film reminds me a bit of Devon Lyons HS film.

Ok now you can go get your coffee, I am just stuck at school and can't view the film here...

I just heard from one of my good buddies, that Mike is real interested in tOSU. A kid that works for my buddy is on Mikes team and says that he always has on his OSU shirts and hats. The OSU offer was the one he was wanting the most.

While you have certainly verified the info that was already posted in this thread, the last comment is a little misleading. Mike grew up a fan of ND. OSU and ND are rumored to be out in front of everyone right now, but there is a long way to go.
