WR Michael "Cantguardmike" Thomas (B1G Champion, National Champion, Pro Bowl, All-Pro, 2019 OPOY)

I read the Youboty comment and panicked at the thought of him leaving. This guy is a monster. Get him the ball 6-7 times minimum every game. He may not end up getting the numbers to be an AA, but he's starting to play like it. Has a great shot at playing his way into the 1st round next year.

I can remember one of my pre-season predictions being that he would break out and man am I glad he did. Definitely one of the more complete WRs returning next year and he is only going to improve with another year as our #1. This WR corps is still going to be so stacked even with Devin and Spencer leaving...depth chart should look something like this and other than Thomas, the starter almost seems irrelevant:

WR: Thomas, Clark, McLaurin (looked great in practice)
WR: C. Smith (came along nice at the end of the year imo), Dixon/Marshall (Marshall moves outside if Dixon does not pick back up from the injury)
Pivot: Dontre/Marshall, Samuel (likely stays at RB primarily but UFM said he might get more looks here), Eric Glover-Williams(?)
TE: Vannett, Baugh/Brown

I thought EGW was getting first look at CB? If have Parris Campbell at Pivot to replace him imo

Not set in stone I don't think and us pursuing another CB so hard despite already having really good depth suggests to me the staff may view him as an offensive player...I think he is way too explosive with the ball to put on defense.

I agree and I've been wanting him as a Pivot since he committed, but as the year progressed, he's been wanting to play more defense, and didn't he do that in the Under Armour game? Doesn't mean much I know, but figured his first shot was on defense a la Ted Ginn

I think it could go either way based on current depth. Pivot has Dontre, Jalin, possibly Samuel, and Campbell. CB has Apple, Conley, Reeves, Webb, Lattimore, Dean, Ward, and Norwood. But I like his ability better at pivot. Anywho, back to Thomas we go (sorry mods).

I read his twitter yesterday morning and panicked at the thought of him leaving lol. He mastered the trolling yesterday.

Kid is a beast, he will be in on every play next year.
