WR Marvin Harrison, Jr. (Silver Football, 2x Unanimous All-American, 2023 Biletnikoff winner, Heisman Finalist, Arizona Cardinals)

Cards used a top 5 pick for a WR known for technique, consistency, and execution, especially in short and intermediate routes. Through 2 games he has 11 targets while TEs/RBs have 34 targets. All other WRs have 9 catching 5/29.

Not sure what the issue is, but they don’t seem to have an NFL level passing offense. Hope Marv gets out of there asap because right now he’s being utilized as a #2 or 3 target in an already mediocre passing attack.

I'm a 49ers fan so I watched the game yesterday. Objectively, he does not look like the 4th pick in the draft. He is playing slow. Hopefully he doesn't turn out like Okudah and Chase Young---2 guys who I would have bet on to be stars who didn't do much
I think this is a little bit of a misconception with Marvin…..and he was critiqued early last year for the same thing.

The Cardinals as a franchise have dispelled it….it stems from an unorthodox system to cater to Kyler Murray who really can’t play from the pocket so traditional route trees and playing “on time” just aren’t feasible.

I feel for Marvin to be honest…..Murray can be fun to watch at times, but it has to be maddening to be a receiver for him. Nothing is on schedule and explosives are only created on broken plays….

Marv seems like a guy who needs things to be consistent and in rhythm, otherwise he can’t get into the flow of the game and therefore makes some bad drops.

Baffling draft pick for that offense and just gotta hope he gets traded to a better situation. Don’t see him scratching his potential in a sandlot offense.

At some point they have to move on from Murray but it won’t be soon enough. He’s an impressive athlete and uses that to create chaos, but there is no consistent passing game.
