WR Marvin Harrison, Jr. (Silver Football, 2x Unanimous All-American, 2023 Biletnikoff winner, Heisman Finalist, Arizona Cardinals)

Marv is a better WR and the best WR in college football. If voters watched his tape it’s no question. This was a lazy stat led voting outcome and ZOMFG he scored TDs on Bamas broke defense.

Marvs a top 10 pick in this years draft if eligible. I’m good with this because Marv will pump this snub right into his veins. He has the Jordan level of obsessive competitiveness. Good for Buckeyes and bad for whoever has to cover Marv…

Marvin Harrison Jr. is a unanimous All-American and Paris Johnson Jr. is a consensus All-American.

Harrison and Johnson secured those honors when both of them were named first-team All-Americans by the American Football Coaches Association, the last of the five organizations that determine unanimous and consensus All-Americans to release its All-America team for the 2022 season.

Ohio State has now had 37 unanimous All-Americans in program history as Harrison becomes the fourth Buckeye in the last four years to earn that distinction along with Wyatt Davis in 2020 and Chase Young and Jeff Okudah in 2019.

The full list of Buckeyes who received All-American distinctions this year from at least one major national media outlet or organization:

  • C.J. Stroud: Walter Camp Football Foundation, CBS Sports, AFCA (second team)
  • Marvin Harrison Jr.: AP, Walter Camp Football Foundation, PFF, CBS Sports, The Athletic, Bleacher Report, FWAA, Sporting News, AFCA (first team)
  • Emeka Egbuka: PFF (third team)
  • Paris Johnson Jr.: Walter Camp Football Foundation, The Athletic, Bleacher Report, FWAA, AFCA (first team); CBS Sports, AP (second team); PFF (honorable mention)
  • Dawand Jones: PFF and CBS Sports (first team); AP, Sporting News (second team)
  • Luke Wypler: PFF (third team)
  • Tommy Eichenberg: PFF, Bleacher Report (first team); Walter Camp Football Foundation, CBS Sports, FWAA, AP, Sporting News (second team)
  • Ronnie Hickman: PFF, AP (second team)
