WR Julian Fleming (transfer to Ped)

We've seen Julian make some extremely impressive catches with his hands before. Just needs to regain some confidence

Psychology of playing wide receiver is really screwy. Sometimes when you’re open you can overthink it. Hopefully the program has him talking to someone and CJ has propped him up. He’s too talented to go down like this.

Just sayin': Ohio State's WR3 (i.e. Fleming) would be WR1 for most other teams. They can't double team all three WRs (i.e Harrison, Egbuka, and Fleming). Somebody pretty much has to be open and/or will usually win a one on one battle for the ball.

His full participation in camp this year should be really helpful with McCord acclimating. I haven’t posted about it here but I’ve been pretty hard on him and I’ve failed to be empathetic to his path and circumstance. When you consider he was 3 he had a really nice season and he should do very well with another camp under Hartline.

Just sayin': The #1 recruit in 2020 is Ohio State's #3 WR. I sure hope Fleming can stay healthy all season. Teams can't put "double coverage" on Harrison, Egbuka, and Fleming at the same time. Well, if they do the RBs are going to have a field day.

The fact that 2 top 20 WRs in 2022 are having a hard time even seeing the field(1 of them was #8 ) shows how insanely loaded this WR room is(oh, and the #10 and #13 WRs who signed with OSU, had to transfer out to have any real shot at seeing the field).

about 6 inches away from a brilliant long TD pass between the coverages. McCord could have led him a bit more outside and I think he was gone with it but it wasn't uncatchable imo.

Agreed, not uncatcheable, but a damn hard catch to have made. Can’t blame him too much on that one.
