WR Jeremiah Smith (All B1G, B1G Frosh/WR of Year, All-American, 2025 Rose Bowl Off MVP)

I'd love for you to be right, but you're wrong. He didn't "survive the ground". You need to possess the ball for more than just a moment, in bounds or out. I don't think anyone is arguing that Smith had a touchdown reception.
I think I disagree with the call that it was an interception. The defender's fingers had it with his toe down, but he didn't have it until his toe was up.
And I definitely disagree with the non-call of pass interference. That was just a terrible miss by the referee(s).
JJ had both hands on the ball and then use right hand to raise it away from the interfering defender when the knock loosen the ball. Anyway, that’s what i saw.

Still a good play from Will and JJ. No complain about them.

He reminds me of Derrick Henry. JS and Henry are those rare kind of guys that no matter how many touches they got it in the game, you look afterward and it still doesn't seem enough.

There are 130 some odd coaches in FBS. 120 some odd would give a testicle to have a guy like this on their roster and if they did, they'd throw it to him until the QB's arm fell off. Looked last night like Kelly (and/or Day) finally came to this simple truth.

If I am Day, I have a simple in-game rule. You call his number once per drive, minimum. Fail to do so and I'm going to cut the goddamn hand off that held the play sheet you failed with.

I am 100% certain it would only ever happen once more.
Isn't it wild that we need to dismember our head coach to get him to do something that everyone in the world knows to be true. Stubborn MFer.

You're right @Telekinesis , this kid needs more love. He's set up to be an all timer! It's a travesty that he wasn't the FPOY! If he continues his trajectory, you're looking at someone who will make us forget about how soon ago we got to enjoy MHjr. Idk the last time ever I've seen a true frosh WR do what he's doing. And he hasn't hit a wall during the lengthened season either. Only gotten better

One Ohio State football player showed that he is wise beyond his years with some answers in his press conference on Saturday.

The Ohio State football team is getting ready to take on Oregon in the Rose Bowl. It's the second time that the Buckeyes are facing the Ducks. They lost the first matchup in October by just a single point. Now, they get a chance to avenge that loss on an even bigger stage.

Jeremiah Smith is going to be a big part of the game plan for the Ohio State Buckeyes. In the first-round matchup with the Vols, he had six catches for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Smith is the best offensive player that the Buckeyes have and is by far the most dangerous.

In the first matchup between these two teams, Smith had nine catches for 100 yards and a touchdown. He is going to be targeted about the same number of times on Wednesday. He showed how mature he is during his press conference on Saturday.

Ohio State football player Jeremiah Smith shows how mature he is for his age

Smith mentioned how much he wants to be great and referenced Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant in their pursuit of greatness and how he has the same fire. Take a look at the clip below.

It's clear that Smith wants to be the best player he can possibly be while he's a Buckeye. He wants to put himself in the best possible situation to succeed in the NFL as well. Earlier in the press conference, he mentioned how he went up to Brian Hartline and asked him to challenge him more.
