WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (2022 Rose Bowl MVP, Seattle Seahawks)

You are wrong in literally this entire thing. I didn’t sign up to bash him at all. I hadn’t said a word about him til the news came out.
Oh look, another absurd post epitomizing the thing you're complaining about from Jaxon, attempting and failing to shame other people for the behavior you're exhibiting, and just all around absurdity.

But sure, let's pretend none of us were paying attention:

Dec 4th - Arizona Buckeye 10 signs up for BP. Will he add value to the board? Chime in on multiple topics?

What are the first 9 words out of your mouth, an entire day before the news you claim to have waited for?

"I will lose a lot of respect if JSN doesn't play."

 Yes, you will, but not how you think. You have not discussed or brought anything else to the table. You haven't even left this thread.
I shared my opinion. Just like you all do daily. But since it differs. Instead of maturely disagreeing. You all result to name calling and immature tactics. An echo chamber.
Your rant began before a decision came out. You shared your rant, and are trying to hold us accountable for how emotional it was.

But sure, let's take a look at your idea of thoughtful, mature posting that we should be aspiring to make. Your response when the news breaks:
Weak. Make millions off NIL, sit out basically all year for a hamstring. Quit on your team when you have a real shot at a Natty.

Very very disappointing. I've lost some respect for this kid personally
I'm just glad for the daily updates on whether you respect JSN.
...
my thing is especially with the NIL money. I think players are expected to give it their all. In this case I feel he took the safe road and left his team high and dry.
In what world does NIL money have anything to do with this, other than you dislike players being paid? Would any of your rants have looked different at all if he was being paid with a scholarship only? Wouldn't he still be leaving your team high and dry?
Also you are a bunch of hypocrites. Who think you’re special because you can slap each others collective backs on a message board. You are all sooooo cool.

Now kindly get over yourselves and move on. If you don’t like my opinion, don’t respond.
That's not how this works. You get every opportunity to present credible arguments or selfish emotional rants. You're choosing the latter, and stumbling over the soapboxes you're hurredly constructing, because you're looking anywhere but in the mirror.

Still think there's a shot this is all a smokescreen. No insider info, just a gut feeling.
Sit him vs Georgia. If they win, during warmups, set a base down at the end of the player box. Then minutes before they take the field, pay for The Rock to come out, pipe in some WWE music, and then cut to a spotlight on the 3rd base.

"I wasn't born here, but I'm still stealing home bitches" -Jaxon rips off the cloak and races onto the field. Harbaugh just sits there agape.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Freedom of speech doesn't guarantee freedom of consequence from said speech. You are allowed to say and believe whatever you like.

Your employer, a business, the police, a forum, the general public etc are also allowed to shun you or kick you out of their place of business or even arrest you for said speech.

I doubt it. They aren’t going to put him on blast even if they feel that way. They are teammates. And of course Day wouldn’t say anything. That would be a great way to law recruits.

it is what is is. But let’s not pretend that this doesn’t look suspicious.

Perhaps you are right, but absence anything to prove that, maybe JSN deserves the benefit of the doubt and we should follow his coach’s and teammates’ lead and just wish him the best.

Haha it’s funny that it seems so many of you have this board as your personality. Like it’s all you seem to have.

Good for you guys! Continue to get triggered anytime someone isn’t afraid to speak up and disagree about a tough subject.

In my opinion, JSN has played this soft. Never heard anyone missing so long for a hamstring. Especially when guys like Treyveon fight through torn ligaments. Eichenberg plays with two broken thumbs.

For a board with so many old timers it’s surprising how many line up with what seems like a soft era of sports.

if this was a scUM player you’d all be saying the same as me. But since it’s a Buckeye you refuse and have rose colored glasses on. I love Ohio State. Wish JSN all the best. But just as I cheer for the team, they aren’t above being criticized either.

Once again your post is off the rails in the first sentence. I have Buckeyeplanet as my... personality? That's not a thing.
Wish JSN all the best.
When do you plan to begin doing this? And will it come with an update on the level of respect you have for him that day?

Correct. It seems like you live to post on message boards. To sit behind a computer and echo chamber other grown me who are overly obsessed with the team.

I can wish him the best but still be disappointed he quit on the team. As I believe he did.
